Hi All, I’m listening to one of Hayley’s renditions of: “In Trutina” from 2003. m.youtube.com/watch?v=7jzSe5fcmdYMonday marks 18 years since I saw Hayley perform live in concert for the 1st time ever… at the Edinburgh Usher Hall for the: “Winter Pure Tour” on Monday 15th November, 2004. I remember: Pachebel’s “Canon in D” being performed live before Hayley came on stage… I will never forget the “butterflies” and the anticipation of seeing her live on stage for the 1st time… Hayley’s guest musician was Mario Frangoulis. Will remember the “Hine e Hine” duet they performed at the end of the concert for as long as I live! ❤️ Andrew

Sarah Class who has worked with Hayley in the past composed a piece called "Sacred Fire" for today's Coronation of King Charles III. It was performed by South African soprano Pretty Yende.
An official album is on the way. Karl Jenkins was an invited guest as was Sarah and "Crossing the stone" featuring the king's harpist Alis Huws was another highlight.

I saw a composition by Debbie Wiseman as well. Hello Paul! Yes, Debbie Wiseman composed the two Gospel Acclamations. Debbie composed the theme of the 2007 movie “Flood” of which Hayley contributed vocally. Photo from my copy of the Authorised Liturgy For The Coronation Of His Majesty King Charles III… And, as Jeff mentioned, Sarah Class wrote “Sacred Fire” and was performed before the Coronation Service. Some outstanding and favorites of mine performed one after another! We had Holst’s ‘Jupiter’, then Karl Jenkins, next was Sarah Class’ composition, then the lovely ‘Crown Imperial’ by Walton, as was performed for the wedding of the now TRH The Prince and Princess of Wales (William and Kate), then ‘Fantasia on Greensleeves’. Photo of my copy of the Order of Service…

I know it's vulgar to discuss money, on occasions like this I think the composers get paid their royalties based on the numbers of people viewing the event. If one was a composer it would probably set you up for life.

Last night a Coronation Concert was held in the grounds of Windsor Castle and this young lady certainly made an impression. She is supported by The Amber Trust and Queen Camilla is the patron.
Earlier this year Lucy won "The Piano" talent show on Channel 4:
Bryn Terfel and Andrea Bocelli also starred at the concert.
Edit: The full concert is now up on Youtube so I have replaced the Iplayer link because I understand it can't be viewed outside the UK.

It's that time of year. As Richard would say:"Simon Cowell strikes again !" Edit: And the lad won his semi-final tonight. But didn't finish in the Final Top 3 despite this superb effort.
