Kate Bush is at No.1 in the singles chart with "Running up that hill." She becomes the oldest woman to top the singles chart (63). It's the longest time a song has taken to get to No.1 (37 years) and the longest gap (44 years) since her last hit "Wuthering Heights." So it's a good time to revisit a very good cover version of that song.

Excellent, and it led me to the cause of all this excitement in the music world! Kate's Running Up That Hill is also climbing the US Billboard charts and is up to no. 4 in the Hot 100. The original release was over 37 years ago and even the official video upload on Youtube was 11 years ago. There's lot to be depressed about at the moment: war, strikes, cost of living, friends who are no longer with us. Music can always lift our mood and one song that always makes me smile was heard on the recent Britain's Got Talent. The group didn't make the final so maybe we should call them Robbed of the West End !

Happy Independence Day to our American members ! I've been listening to an American Tune.
Released in 1973 before the Classical Crossover genre started it could still fairly be described as a Classical Crossover song since it's based on a tune by J.S.Bach.

Isn't it the only Hayley and Meav duet on the album? In fact, I don't even recall another duet, in general, on the DVD. They all mostly sing together, or solo.
