This song probably blows me away more than any of the others. He's really an incredible singer and artist. Not incredible quality, but I can't post the better quality audio video.

Sometimes you stumble on a sound that catches you off guard, that triggers a misty unclear memory : .

Thanks Paddy,
for posting the videos.
a local girl, sounds perfect for inclusion with Celtic Woman.
Did you notice the songs were written by Brendan Graham ?
I wonder if Hayley was invited to return to the safety of the fold ?

London Grammar YouTube VideosWow ! saw these the other night at Electric Picnic Ireland, Hannah Reid is my kind of voice and such great stage presence and confidence in her ability to hold an audience in the palm of her hand.

I wonder if Hayley was invited to return to the safety of the fold ? Yes, she lives just a few miles away. Lovely voice. I noticed Brendan. Writes good songs. Invited or not, Hayley probably prefers to remain solo and sing with others sometimes, I think.

Me too. I came across this lady last year, when she stood in at the last moment for another singer who was indisposed. I was impressed. She also claimed to know me, although I'm sure I had never met her before.

A blast from the past on Classic FM just now - All Angels, Pie Jesu. I'd forgotten how good they were back in the day, very enjoyable. Posted here as I didn't think it warranted a new thread in their sub-board. Dave

The official audition medley video was a little shaky, but I'm sure all 3 finalists were feeling the pressure. Her studio covers of Orphan Girl and My Land were quite well done. If you watched the Celtic Woman "Homecoming: Ireland" PBS special (or the equivalent TV special in Ireland on New Year's Day), you've heard the two songs Anabel performed on stage at the 3Arena. The audience was very impressed with her and with good reason. I won't spoil the surprise for people who haven't seen it, but suffice it to say both of her performances were outstanding! Anabel is on the Homecoming DVD and live CD, which release on January 26, 2018. Anabel is also an actress and who knows where her path will lead. If she pursues singing as a career, I think it's very possible we could see her with Celtic Woman again some day.

I asked Hayley about this song when she was at the UCH Limerick (University Concert Hall) I thought it might suit her.
