Thanks everyone for the wonderful pics. I still haven't had chance to even upload mine from the camera yet :2fun:

And thanks Roger for those recordings, a memory of m first Hayley Concert . Seeing as I do a bit of audio related stuff myself, I'll be writing a PM to ask what you did at some point( I hear the technical side coming in when you said about 12dBs ), but i'm not sure when i'll get chance

And one last thing, did anyone get a photo of me with Hayley, seeing as Dad didn't know how to use my camera (he didn't know how to zoom out, so i have a photo of Hayley's face and my shoulder )

Fantastic photos as always - some great expressions there from Hayley!!

James, I could see that your dad couldn't get the hang of your camera, he didn't seem to grasp that he needed to look through the view finder!! I guess thats the problem with so many people having these little cameras where you take the pic by looking at a screen - lol. Sorry, but I didn't get one of you with Hayley - hope perhaps someone else did.

Hi everyone, great pics, all of you, but Steve has made some very impressive one (well, he usually does).

And I'll get to listen to the Hayley selection of the audio tomorrow, thank you, Roger for that.

Once again, I get the feeling as if I was there, HWI is so incredible at doing this.

An intentional late thank you for the recording of the Concert. I did not listen to it before I went to Nottingham on Monday but I have spent most of tonight reliving the whole concert
It was of course very similar to Nottingham but as others have remarked the audience participation was more pronounced at Nottingham. This was most noticeably to me in 'Maybe it's because I am a Londoner' where it appeared that the whole audience sang it at Nottingham but not at Croydon Strange given the Geography !

Glad you enjoyed it Graham.

Unfortunately I couldn't get to Nottingham due to other commitments, and the other concerts I booked were cancelled so I only have the one recording from this series.

It is interesting that the audiences reacted differently. From all the reports it seems that the technical presentation was better at Nottingham as well. The audio mixing at Croydon was very badly done - far below the standard one should expect at such a venue.
Unfortunately no amount of post-production work can fully compensate for such defects, so regretfully my edited recording was not up to the usual standard.
