Hi everyone Well, I have taken the plunge and now that I am a little more clear about things looking ahead I HAVE BOOKED !! I tried on-line first, which offered me G22. However, a phone call to the box office secured me B15 (sorry Gordon, right next to you!) which is centre stage apparently It will be great to catch up with so many HWI friends again and I am really looking forward to it. One more to add to your list Graham! Best wishes Mark

Well done Mark!!
Looks like this one will be "the" HWI event of 2010 considering the turnout.
Best wishes Grant

Hi Mark,
Your company is very welcome but I am a little concerned that considering the length of time tickets have been on sale it is still possible to get a ticket in the middle of the 2nd row. Just as well there will be a strong HWI turnout.

One more to add to your list Graham! Hi Mark, I can take a hint Karsten Grant + 3 Graham Martin + Sue George + 3 Joyce Stephany Maryt Belinda Gordon PeterS Mark That is 12 members + 7 so far. Gordon it was probably one seat left 'between' bookings as most people come as a two plus group. Look forward to meeting you again Mark.... and everyone else ! Best Wishes, Graham

Seeing that the internet was offering row G I didn't think I stood a chance of getting row B and the box office lady mentioned that there was still plenty of room yet. I hope ticket sales pick up. Anyway, looking forward to it. Regards Mark

Strangely enough the Royal Centre have just sent me a couple of flyers for this show in the post. Obviously haven't twigged we already have tickets.
It was nice to receive them though!

Less than two weeks to go (I leave the exact count to Richard )! I still haven't received my tickets but the box office told me to come along with my internet purchase confirmation. I am growing impatient See you there!

Me too Joyce. My plan is to work the morning, then come home and lunch time and head for Nottingham. Sue doesn't know this yet, so I hope we don't have to travel in separate cars!! I like to get there early to say hello to you all and perhaps Hayley too, Sue would prefer just to be at the concert. We shall see.

Hi Joyce and everyone Are there any plans for a pre gathering?? Does someone know the area near the concert hall, and do we need a meeting point??
I'm really looking forward to see all HWI friends again !!! There is a large paved area in front of the Royal Concert Hall, and the hall itself has a very large foyer. I suggest we meet in that area. I don't expect to be there much before 3.30/3.45 but am looking forward to seeing everyone. Best wishes Grant

Can anyone advise about the car parking situation? My memories of Nottingham are of a motorists nightmare. The closer you try to get to the centre, the further away you end up. I would value advice, but if nobody knows, then it will have to be get maps off the Internet and brave it.

Hi Martin Can anyone advise about the car parking situation? My memories of Nottingham are of a motorists nightmare. The closer you try to get to the centre, the further away you end up. I would value advice, but if nobody knows, then it will have to be get maps off the Internet and brave it. First of all DON'T park in Nottingham - if you plan to arrive early it could cost you £15! My advice would be to come off the M1 at Junction 26/A610 and head towards Nottingham. Look for signs to Phoenix Centre Park & Ride and take the tram into the city - it's only about a mile from the M1 on the left hand side and there are always spaces available. Parking is free: an all-day tram ticket costs £3; it's a great way to get into the city and you can get off opposite the Royal Centre stage door! That's what we will be doing. Oh! and the last tram back is well after midnight! Best wishes Grant
