I noticed she's wearing different earrings in the arrival photos. The photos are gorgeous, thanks Karsten, Grant, Joyce, Martin, and everybody else! BTW, the article is incorrect in saying Hayley is the president of Vera Lynn's school; she's actually the vice president!

Thanks to Gordon, here is the photo of our HWI breakfast at Wetherspoons! Gordon took one or two which obviously didn't include him. The nice lady waitress offered to take this one of us all.

Well, Hayley must have done something right. Sue, who often tells me off for my Hayley addiction, has been playing nothing but Hayley albums on her player in the kitchen since the concert. I'm starting to think Hayley got to her on Monday night. Mind you, with a performance like that I'd challenge anyone not to be blown away, she was awesome.

Hi everyone Sorry for the delay in posting. I haven't been feeling too well over the past few days, although hopefully on the mend now. In my early days of seeing Hayley in concert, I may well have put it down to a case of 'Hayleyitus' after such a superb concert. Anyway, thanks to everyone for their reports and photos - in particular, Joyce, Grant Karsten & Martind . You always manage to capture a few unusual shots Joyce. That was the second BOB concert that I had seen and I had to say, the most enjoyable of the two for me. The audience were very enthusiastic and Hayley was clearly pleased with the warm reception she and the other artists received. It was fantastic to see so many of my HWI friends - the largest gathering since Hayley's 21st birthday in Buxton I think - we certainly took over Weatherspoons - but not the one that you were in George!! That was such a shame. Never mind, you made it in time for the concert. It was lovely to meet Stephany and Joyce again and of course to have Belinda with us for a second time. Not only that, but a new member, David, who travelled down from Edinburgh and who is also a member of the Connie Talbot forum. Talking of Connie, I must apologise for Belinda & myself dashing off straight after the meal. For those of you who don't know, Belinda started the Connie Talbot Official Forum almost 3 years ago and has yet to meet Connie. Hayley got to hear about this and realising that Belinda was over in the UK, very kindly invited Connie and her parents to the Nottingham concert as her guests so that Belinda could finally meet them. We decided to meet up before the show as it would be too late for Connie afterwards. When Belinda & I met up with Hayley at the stage door, Hayley asked if they had enjoyed the show and how Connie was doing. Thanks very much Hayley for your kindness - everything worked out perfectly and yes - they did enjoy the show. Hayley's wonderful rendition of 'Danny Boy' just before the interval had Connie's mum Sharon in floods of tears!! Here are a few photos from me. I hope you wont mind a couple of shots of Connie too! Belinda & HayleyHayley & StephanyBelinda & ConnieMe, Connie & Belinda (taken by Connie's mum) Many thanks for the company of all my HWI friends and of course to Hayley for another stunning performance. Not long now until Buxton!! Very best wishes Mark

Hi George, I should have spoken to her, if she was on shift the previous evening. I think I am the only HWI member who was there who did not appear in any of the photos. Although in my very similar photo f the day before, there is an empty chair next to Sue where I could have been. Not complaing though! Martin D - The Invisible Man

As I read about how the Nottingham concert was probably the best of all the BOB concerts it opens old wounds for me. Had I booked Nottingham and not Cardiff I would have been OK. But when you book three months ahead you are essentialy locked into a itinerary that can't be changed without a substantial increase in expense. Also if you were to change at the 11th hour as the concerts were canceled so late you would be lucky to get any seat at all at a different venue. Larry

Hi Martin and all.
I loved your 'additional location and other people' shots, Martin. Of course we are all there for Hayley BUT, your 'other' shots add an extra dimension and made me think this way. This is HWI, a group of 500 plus people. What was a delight on Monday was meeting people who are there less often then some of us are able to be, although if she does do a US tour we in the UK may soon be missing her as much as those abroad do regularly, and perhaps we should make more effort to included photo shots of our members attending as part of the overall sharing which is why we are here. After all, Hayley sometimes views (and her family). They tend to know Hayley rather better than we do!!! Why not show them something of us for a change? I've a feeling that would please Hayley?
Okay, I have since discovered a wider application to the above thinking applied this time round after all BUT, location shots might be of interest to people from abroad, although perhaps they ought to be under 'Photography', or perhaps a subgroup under 'Photography' named after the location and month/year to keep matters neat and tidy. I'll leave it to the Mods to comment/suggest.

Hi Mark
Many thanks for your photos of little Connie - I haven't seen her since Buxton and she seems to have grown into a very pretty little girl.
I also hadn't realised that Hayley had invited Connie to the Nottingham concert so that Belinda could meet her - what a very sweet gesture, but typical of our ever thoughtful Hayley.
Best wishes Grant

Hi everyone, After discussion among the forum staff, we have removed some material involving 4 posts that is off-topic for this thread. We think the subject raised was not in keeping with the positive tone of this thread, and it has already been debated at length in other threads (but see this post). Nottingham was a successful and enjoyable concert and I'd like to thank all who have posted their memories and photos of it. It's a pleasure to read the thread and I'm sure that we all want to keep it that way, positive and on topic. Thanks! Dave

Hi all, To second Dave, really a thoroughly enjoyable thread. Many thanks indeed for all the pictures and remarks. Better late than never I only want to add a few pictures from the arrival and the second half of the concert.
