Just returned from the concert ,and once again Hayley was in fine form . Having arrived at Ponty at 11.00 ,and crossing the road into the town ,Hayley's tour bus sped past us.After finding a spot in the high street where you could hear the soundcheck perfectly, we sat in line waiting to be let in .Having seats ,we were put into a pen to the side of the stage ,but the festival was very relaxed ,and not full, so when Hayley came on for her slots I managed to make my way to the front .For the second half of the concert ( the first half had being local acts ) ,Faryl was followed by Jonathan and then Hayley ( Tim seemed to be very amused at Jonathans long hair and beard). After a short break this was repeated again .
Hayley's set list was as followed (not in order of performance ) Prayer, Summer Fly, Never Saw Blue, Pokarekara Ana ,Scarborough Fair, Mummers Dance ,Both Sides Now, Wuthering Heights, Amazing Grace, Danny Boy and for the first time live ,Jolene ,which was performed superbly . So all in all a great day out, the weather was fine, the people friendly ,and after all the recent changes to her concert schedule ,(not that I needed reminding ),I was reminded why I make the effort to follow Hayley . As always she was superb ,along with Tim, AJ and Raven. Mike

Hi Hammer Thanks also for your feedback on this event. It was interesting to read that Hayley performed "Jolene" (written by Dolly Parton no less).
Best wishes

There were a few humorous tweets which said that when Jonathan turned up for sound check, Faryl didn't even recognise him! :rollin Jonathan had this nice tweet to say about Hayley: Cheers, Jillian

Thanks for finding the pics Jillian - I'm not surprised Faryl didn't recognise Jonathan! He looks completely different with his long hair and beard i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gifBest wishes Grant

I've posted the two photographs of Hayley on our new website with a link to the rctcbc website. They definitely look better left justified rather than centered, as do smaller images on the forum. Richard

Hello everyone
Annelies has just tweeted this pic of Hayley and her.
A quite different look for Hayley - wonder if her teeshirt is one of the things she ruined??
.... and one with Hayley and Faryl
Best wishes Grant

I'm glad we got a report and pics. Thanks Mike (Hammer, I think I remember you from a book I once read , and Bluebirdrichk2 for making the video. Another wonderful and unique video of a Hayley performance. This sounds like it was a wonderful show, and to be honest I would have loved to have been able to be there. I think from what I have heard, and the reactions of Faryl, Jonathan and Hayley on Twitter, that it was a rather special show. My Hayley famine continues, but hopefully only 7 days to go before I see her again at Nottingham. Martin D
