Hello Grant,
I'm very glad to hear that you have secured a ticket! I hope you and my other friends heading down to London enjoy themselves at the Mermaid Theatre!
Cheers, Joe

I meant to mention that! Are we going in uniform or in civvies? I think we should put up an HWI presence to make Hayley feel at home! Polo's, sweatshirt or tie that is the question!! Hi Grant The weather forecast for Monday in London doesn't look too good at present (wet & cool) so I'm going sweatshirt! Martin

Hi Martin
I'll bring both just in case, but sweatshirt sounds good to me.
Best wishes Grant

Hi Mark Just to add to Roger's comments. I used to travel to London for work quite a lot with work and relied on the tube to a great extent, but I never used the Circle Line if I could avoid it! At times you could sit on it for hours and go nowhere! What time are you coming to town? I shall come in on the Bakerloo maybe 4 ish and go for something to eat. If you would like we could meet up. Best wishes Grant Hi Grant That would be a good idea. I'll look at my train times and check when i'll be arriving. I would hope to be in London by 4pm. Will send you a PM later. Best regards Mark

Hello Mark! Your best way from Marylebone is definitely to take the Bakerloo Line to Embankment and change there. I'll be wearing my 'Westenra of Christchurch NZ' tartan tie, because it's never been on the radio before! Two days to go!!! i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gifSee you there, Richard

I also look forward to seeing everyone again on Monday. Just a quick question for the regulars at the Mermaid (that's you Caite!) - do people bother dressing up to go there or can we dress down like slobs as usual? James Hey James et all People come dressed in all sorts. Jeans and nice tops, or dressed quite nicely. Last time I was there I was wearing a nice top and jeans with some sandals. This time I plan on wearing a nice top and jeans again. I wouldn't suggest wearing the sweatshirt and jeans though - that's probably too casual. Oh yes and I'm not able to stand in the queue with you as I've got a meeting, but I'll arrive and show you where to go (just in case you couldn't figure it out), maybe pick up my ticket?, and then catch everyone inside! <3 Caitlin

Hi Mark
Are you planning to get a train in to Euston on Monday? If so, let me know your arrival time, then I can catch a local train into Euston from Wembley and we can meet up and go for a bite to eat before the concert.
How does that sound?
Best wishes Grant

I hope you all have fun tomorrow night. Unfortunately, I couldn't get a ticket, but I am going to the theatre anyway. I will be incredibly upset if I look on here on Tuesday and see lots of photos of you folks standing next to Hayley and smiling!

Hi Adam,
Please introduce yourself to us tomorrow. I can't make any promises but there is a chance I may be able to get you in.

Thanks for the kind offer Roger but I now have tickets to go and see a play. I hope to see you at the next HWI shindig - does anyone know when this could be?

Hi Adam,
Sorry to hear we won't be seeing you after all.
We have two members going to Langholm in Scotland next week. Other than that, the next gathering isn't likely to be until December in either Southampton or Bath. I hope we will see you at one of those.
Roger
