Hello Gene, Grant and Roger! I think there's some confusion over the name. The guitarist is Des Moore, not Wes, and Google indicates that he has played and recorded with many of the great Irish bands over the years. He was certainly playing with Celtic Woman at Slane Castle, but you could have seen him almost anywhere. He also plays guitar on 'Treasure', so you may have seen him at one of Hayley's concerts or on TV with her. Best Wishes, Richard

Thanks for the update Richard. I've corrected the name in my post so as not to look silly - Ah! but then I've just admitted doing it which is ... er ... rather silly!! Seriously, I think my memory of seeing him predates Hayley by a long way. Best wishes Grant

Best Wishes, Richard Thank you Grant, Roger and Richard, for your information and clarification. Des was with CW when I saw them at Radio City Music Hall in New York City on March 16. He is a fine instrumentalist. I had previously forwarded a note to him, along with my picture, asking (CW) to consider me as a fill-in for him should he not be able to make a performance with CW (what a nerve I had!). I was in the first row at the concert and he kept looking over to me, but we never had the opportunity to meet. Perhaps he recognized me from my picture, or perhaps from the callouses on my fingers! Best, Gene

I hope you all don't mind reviving this old thread. But did this show ever get recorded? The Irish Tenors are one of my favorites and I would love to have seen them with Hayley. I found this description about Hayley's appearance, though (unfortunately with misspellings) . Courtesy of: www.tenortours.com/tenorfriends.htm:Also, I thought you all might be interested to know that Anthony Kearns mentioned Hayley's name at an interview on Houston Public Interview on December 7, 2007. He just said she was a guest at their show. But any publicity for Hayley is always appreciated, right? He specifically mentioned her above the hosts of other guests they had. www.kuhf.org/programaudio/thefrontrow/2007/12/071207Irish_128k.mp3 (Hayley is mentioned near 15:40).
