Well, we've talked about it many times. But if one song was in that list, it would probably be, by far, the most popular one.

I voted for 'Peace Shall Come', 'All With You' and 'It's Only Christmas'. 'River' and 'Veni Veni Emmanuel' would have been my next choices, followed by 'Silent Night' and 'The Little Drummer Boy'. Richard

Christmas Morning and River, without a doubt. Especially since she wrote one of them. Absolutely the best Christmas song I've ever heard.

If I had only one vote it would have gone to ON THE WINGS OF TIME
But it aint' even listed and most of us have it !
If this song had started with the verse in English it would have gotten more attention and would have been perfect as a single for release into the charts.
So Veni Veni, Drummer boy and Sleigh ride got the votes

Yes, what could have been done with proper promotion. On the Wings of Time, and Peace Shall Come, as a single. With airplay and TV promotion how could it fail? A possible Christmas No. 1, no need for that ugly stuff from California to stop Cowell. But her record company obviously no longer believe in her. So no promotion for Winter Magic. I am so angry about this insult to the finest female singer they have ever had on their books. Are they deaf or something?
On the Wings of Time is in my opinion the best track on Winter Magic. I think it would have won the poll, even if some of the voters have never heard it. Ad that viseo about how it was made is truly beautiful, even I can see that despite not speaking Japanese.

Ooo, it's undoubtedly River!!! But I also like "Little Drummer Boy". Just love the way Hayley sings "pa da pa pum pum" And I also love Silent Night. Best version of Silent Night I've heard so far!

Yes, Silent Night is so gorgeous. I think Josh Groban's is amazing, too, but I like hers better.

I haven't heard the version of Josh Groban though, maybe I should. Have you heard Ronan Keating's version of Silent Night? It's nice also, but I prefer Hayley's version over it. I also know Susan Boyle's version, but I don't like that so much... - Anshita

Hi Anshita,
There was a day, last December, when Hayley wandered into the Classic FM studio with guitarist A J Moore, and just performed Silent Night live, on air. It was just so beautiful.
I have a recording of it that I treasure. There was a link to it on HWI once, but it is probably not available now. Had a quick look and didn't find it, but a more thorough search might do better.

My favorite tracks are: River : kinda crazy about the perfection that waves in this song it's quite emotional and hearted. I know you know what I mean.... Veni Veni Emanuel : such a perfect track needs NO explanation Silent Night : well Hayley has recorded it 4 times, but WM version is my favorite. It's as soft as a lullaby. On The Wings Of Time : an extraordinary soprano Maori/English bonus track that has cruelly released only in JP. This song takes me back to my childhood times with my cousins in their home and the gentle rains of my favorite green jungles. It should've never been an only JP release track, but well it is.... Winter's Dream : I love it! It's another pure song for a lover couple. The Coventry Carol : Hayley songs it wonderfully alongside the choirs. I know it originally used to be sung by the mournful mothers of Bethlehem, and Hayley Sings it so emotional but in a way that doesn't make you depress. Peace Shall Come : Now I'm talking about a “one of a kind” track of WM. It's GREAT and Hayley saved her best for the last. And she is an able songwriter too. It's Only Christmas (ft. Ronan Keating) : I love this so g a lot and it has been stucked in my mind for a long time. I always dreamt that Hayley and Ronan could sing it on an ice rink while dancing on ice. It'd make a good promotional music video. I saw it on Track ID that Hayley is a dancer too!!!! But I never saw her dancing.

Martin D Martin Well, the idea of Decca's deafness is so old and special to me! Have they ever seen the people's comments about her voice. Why wouldn't they promote her!!!! Why there's no music video? Why there is no single? Why do they make us dead confuse with thousands of editions and compilation albums? Why a lot of her gems are only released in Japan.... So there's only one thing left for me to say: HAYLEY DEE WESTENRA SHOULD LEAVE DECCA RECORDS FOR EVER. Seriously guys! What good has this label done for her? Why it left her whit no promotion? They did perfectly for Pure, but why did they stopped? We should talk to Hayley about leaving Decca. I'm quite sure that she'll find a label that understand what does she capable of. She can't go on this way. If she's not one of the most international singer it's all Decca's fault. Decca should act as Hollywood Records. I don't want it to get late

I do think she is most likely still with Decca at this time.
