Ri€ght guys, I've got few assorted picturs. Nowhere near the quality of Grant and Karsten's of course, but might be of interest. These are of the Opera House, outside and in. A very beautiful building in my opinion. In case yo are wondering, that last one is of the ceiling. Martin D

Hello everyone I have to agree with everything said above. It was beautifully sung and excellently produced.
Also I believe this was the longest ever Hayley concert. I think a number of people have suggested this, so I've been looking back through my set lists. In fact Hayley sang 17 songs in ALL the "River of Dreams" concerts, Except Llandudno, where she did a duet with Alexei and Lichfield where she sang a second encore bringing the total to 18 for those concerts. Hayley also sang 18 songs at her Victoria Hall, Stoke-on-Trent concert in 2008, and most recently at last Christmas' Barbican concert which includes the duet with Lee Mead. So, Buxton may not have been a record for the number of songs but it was certainly unique on the basis of its content! i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gifBest wishes Grant Quite so Grant, but I didn't quote the number of songs. I referred to the length of the concert, which of course included Raven's contributions. My edited recording of the Buxton concert is definitely the longest so far.

Just like Bath, Buxton is a spa town. Not far from the opera house is a water souce where where everyone fills their bottles with Buxton water, instead of getting it from the supermarkets. Anyway, a few views of the town and Pavilion Gardens The Crescent. The Baths Martin D

Oh, and I suppose you would like some pics of Haylet too. These were from the performance I only got a few photos in the first half, and no videos, since I was "spoken to" during the interval about filmeing during the performance. I made the mistake of reviewing my pictured during the interval, I'm sure i wasn't spotted during the performance. Even the lady sitting beside me had't realised I had taken photos until she saw me looking at them during the interval. Still, it gave me the chance to sit back and enjoy the show, and what a show it was. One of the very best in my opinion. Martin D

And then there was the stage door. It is really wonderful that Hayley does this. Andy with Hayley And Hayley with Bethany Perhaps these are returning a favour from the first Buxton show 2 years ago. Martin D

Here's one I should have put in earlier. The obligatory HWI meal shot Now, getting pictures of Hayley can often be hard, and we get losts of rejects. Most of us have many photographs of the back of Hayley's head, and I suggested that maybe we should have a competition for such photos. It's a pity to let them go to waste, after all, Hayley does have a lovely head of hair. Here is my entry. And finally, my own favourite. I never knew I had so many teeth, the living proof that I have a good dentist, and that Hayley makes me smile! Thank you Stephen for taking this photo for me. Or perhaps the cropped version Martin D

And the lyrics seem to be almost identical to the Dolly Parton version: Jolene Lyrics Jolene, jolene, jolene, jolene Im begging of you please don't take my man Jolene, jolene, jolene, jolene Please don't take him just because you can Your beauty is beyond compare With flaming locks of auburn hair With ivory skin and eyes of emerald green Your smile is like a breath of spring Your voice is soft like summer rain And I cannot compete with you, jolene He talks about you in his sleep There's nothing I can do to keep From crying when he calls your name, jolene And I can easily understand How you could easily take my man But you don't know what he means to me, jolene Jolene, jolene, jolene, jolene Im begging of you please don't take my man Jolene, jolene, jolene, jolene Please don't take him just because you can You could have your choice of men But I could never love again Hes the only one for me, jolene I had to have this talk with you My happiness depends on you And whatever you decide to do, jolene Jolene, jolene, jolene, jolene Im begging of you please don't take my man Jolene, jolene, jolene, jolene Please don't take him just because you can Hayley's Please don't take him even though you can Dolly's Jolene, jolene Graeme PS A rather sad song on an all to frequently recurring theme. I can't see Jolene taking too much notice of the plea from the real life stories I've heard....

Hi everyone,
Such a shame that I wasn't there, reading all your reports assured me it was a very special concert. I will have to wait to get another chance to see Hayley live... But for now, let me keep enjoying all those reports, pics and audio clips that you so nicely keep sharing. Thank you all so much!

Hi Guys,
Stephen tells me he didn't take that photo of me and Hayley after all. I felt sure that it was him. So I owe whoever did take it an apology and thanks. But who was it? Any volunteers.
That's not unsual though. This happened the last time when Andy took the photo that I use as an avatar. I couldn't remember who had taken it afterwards. Senility??
