Hello everyone I have to agree with everything said above. It was beautifully sung and excellently produced.
Also I believe this was the longest ever Hayley concert. I think a number of people have suggested this, so I've been looking back through my set lists. In fact Hayley sang 17 songs in ALL the "River of Dreams" concerts, Except Llandudno, where she did a duet with Alexei and Lichfield where she sang a second encore bringing the total to 18 for those concerts. Hayley also sang 18 songs at her Victoria Hall, Stoke-on-Trent concert in 2008, and most recently at last Christmas' Barbican concert which includes the duet with Lee Mead. So, Buxton may not have been a record for the number of songs but it was certainly unique on the basis of its content! i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gifBest wishes Grant

Just love those soft low, almost whispered Jolene's, and the changes Hayley has made on the emphasis on the syllables compared with the Dolly Parton version

Hi Marcus and welcome to the forum from Central England. I'm very happy that you enjoyed your first concert and remember seeing you talking to Hayley at the stage door afterwards because I heard you tell her you were from Frankfurt Best wishes Grant
