Hi Jillian, The short answer to that is no I don't! I know I have seen it before but I don't recall where. I wondered if I may have the original amongst a collection of magazines that Belinda sent me years ago. I don't but, in my search, I came across some others that may be of interest. This will be like Nostalgia Corner for our long-standing members but for anyone who has registered in the last four years or so may not have seen them. This first set are from Next NZ magazine, August 2001 Hayley, Sophie and Isaac busking in Christchurch The family shopping L-R: Jill, Isaac, Sophie, Gerald, Hayley With Dame Malvina Major More to follow.

Hi Roger -- thanks for the trip down memory lane! This particular photo of Hayley in NY's Times Square is remarkable for a number of reasons: 1. Hayley was born on a Friday -- see "Fridays" restaurant behind her 2. She is making a "crossover" to the other side of the street. 3. She had to cross a puddle (seen behind her) -- and she also had to cross the "puddle" in a larger sense: Flying over the Atlantic from London to NY to do this shoot. 4. There's the sign above her that reads "no stopping anytime" -- and we would all agree there is no stopping Hayley! 5. In the upper-right of the photo is a sign that reads "Clear Chan" -- and Hayley is a "clear" chanteuse if there ever was one. 6. In back of her is the word "computers" and it's safe to say we're all on our computers to see this. 7. This picture was shot on West 46th Street. Believe it!

Hi Roger
Many thanks for the scans - I've seen some before - even got some of them but many are new to me too. I'm fascinated by the fact that in some of the pictures, the Hayley of today is clearly evident. Particularly in the one that Steve Mac. picked out.
Wonderful stuff! Love to hear Hayley's reaction if she saw them now!
Best wishes Grant

Hi Jillian
Thank you for the pic of Hayley with Tim Evans. I remember when Tim first joined the team, he said that he'd known Hayley for some time so that's probably when they met.
Hasn't changed much has he?
Best wishes Grant

Hi Jillian,
Well, that is a surprise. I didn't know that Tim had worked with Hayley until comparitively recently. I knew Hayley was at the Opera House in 2004 but I had no idea Tim was there. Ya live and learn!

Hi, I think at that time, TIm was a pianist for NZ singer Tim Beveridge -- who is the other person in the photo. It almost seems like everyone in the NZ music scene knows each other! Wouldn't surprise me if that was the case!

Hi Jillian and Roger, I think it's from 2005 because the top picture is from her singing of Chattanooga Choo Choo in 2005. As to what magazine and when the lower picture was taken, I have no idea! ~Nordly

Steve, you don't miss anything, do you? I don't mean to spoil it for you, but I'm afraid the red sign next to McDonald's might actually say "No Smoking Anytime". They don't allow smoking right outside doorways anymore in a lot of places. That's a sidewalk, so no cars can go or stop there. And I don't think they want to tell the pedestrians to stop, otherwise they'd never make it into the stores!
Good eyes, Nordly! I never would have noticed that!
