Very well thought out Review Jillian & great desktop pic sized calendar pics. I have a few more listens to get the hang of the album to see if I agree with you. I already think it's beautiful and with plenty of variety. I have very little sense of "Christmas" as a time when you do this or that so playing 'Silent Night' in July is just as meaningful to me as in December. Having said that I played WM Silent Night & then Odyssey's Silent Night one after the other....quite significantly different but both really lovely. Graeme

Hi Graeme, Thanks for your photos of the cd and booklet! We Aussies are really on top of things, aren't we? :rollin I'm giving the album a little rest, because I listened to it so intently yesterday. Might give it another spin tonight.

Hey, Jillian, didn't you like All With You? It's beautiful. I can't believe I'm the first one to notice you left it out! And Sleigh Ride, too.
I need to listen to the whole album again. I've only listened to it all once.

Hello Everyone, I've listened to the CD a couple of times now and it is terrific. It has a mix of styles that I find very appealing. One of the songs that I really like is "Sleigh Ride". You can clearly hear the joy and playfulness in Hayley's voice. It makes me smile. When she sings, " . . . and friends are calling YOO Hoo", I'm reminded of Karsten's photo of Hayley, waving from the stage door at Swansea Grand Theater. What a delight! Bill

I think that this was the first time I've ever listened to an album from start to finish in one go! It usually takes me weeks to slowly work through an album. As for songs like Sleigh Ride... well, let's just say that I have scars from working in retail over many Christmas periods that are yet to heal! :rollin Last year they started the Christmas music in October and kept it going to January! Thank goodness that's over! My housemate Seb works in a supermarket and he's dreading it! I've offered to lend him my Hayley and Josh Groban Christmas CDs to play in the store so it won't be so bad! i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gif

I knew one of the section managers down here at Woollies &, of course , suggested a Hayley selection to him for the store music. The music is decided by the management & arrives by radio to the stores...the staff have absolutely no choice in it. But that doesn't stop you going higher !!!! Incidentally 'Hayley's Sleigh' ride is like no other Sleigh Ride I've ever heard !!! I react at kitsch (german word meaning rubbish) the same, but I'm fascinated by Hayley's taking over of so many songs which eventually become the 'best ever' version. Graeme

Great, Jillian. An entirely different matter...hopefully he has an Mp3 playable system. That would 'flood' the shop with Hayley for the whole day. Graeme PS And Josh G & Rhydian too of course. In Rhydian's case the shoppers would be goosebumped into immobility & forget their shopping list.

How could All With You not stand out to you? Am I the only one who likes it here? My goodness.

How could All With You not stand out to you? Am I the only one who likes it here? My goodness. Yeah Libby, you are the only one on Hayley Westenra International that likes the song! Of course not! I was amazed with this song just like the rest, but I also missed it in my review. The fact that this album has so many decent tracks is the main reason for that, I think. I actually posted my review on my second listen through, to refresh my memory on the songs that captured my attention. The stand out tracks for me were definitely On the Wings and Veni Veni. Doesn't mean I dislike any of the other songs!
