Now pre-ordered on Play.com! I wish I could spare the extra expense of ordering from CDJapan though - have to wait until the UK release date... It could be in my CD player right now making this evening much more enjoyable... Ah well, the UK's time will come... Cheers Ben

ARGHHHHHH! My copy arrived today but nobody was home to sign for it. It went back to the post office. I could pick it up tomorrow but, unfortunately, I have to be traveling the next two days. My dear wife said she would retrieve it for me tomorrow and it would be waiting for me when I get back. Bill PS. Hmmm. I bet my dear wife opens it.

I wonder why it didn't send when ours did...maybe they had too many pre-ordered at the last min.

Hello everyone Well, I don't usually make a habit of listening to Christmas albums this early in the year - come to think of it, I don't usually make a habit of listening to Christmas albums much at Christmas! But hey, I'm adicted to this one - early October or not, just can't stop playing it and anyway, it does feel more like a 'Winter' album. I'm also finding the more I listen to it, the more I'm getting out of it. I still have my favourites - I don't think they will change. The musical arrangement and Hayley's vocals on "On The Wings Of Time" and "Veni Veni Emmanuel" are just incredible. Hayley's own "Peace Shall Come" is right up there too - I just love the way it begins quietly then just carries the listener off in an explosion of beautiful vocals. I also love Hayley's other two songs on the album. I think to begin with, they were overshadowed by the more powerful tracks, but the soft and gentle melodies and sometimes repetitive vocals are so catchy, they just stay with you. "The Little Road To Bethlehem" was a new one for me but the more I hear it the more I like it and having it as the first track is masterful. It is such a happy little song and I can just imagine the listener saying to him or herself "I'm going to enjoy this album!" Now some of you will remember that I remarked in my initial review that "The Little Drummer Boy" has been with me forever - from the days of Harry Belafonte in fact - and it has always been special. This is another beautiful arrangement and Hayley's delicate vocals make it more so. In fact, this song has stirred up within me, feelings long forgotten. My mum was a singer and I can only imagine that she got me singing the 'pa rum pum pum pum' bits when I was a toddler. Now Hayley's version gives me goosebumps each time I hear it. I wonder how many of us will still be playing this CD long after Christmas has come and gone? I think one of them will be me! Best wishes Grant

Yay!! It arrived!! Some beautiful photos on the calendar of the Special Edition! Mine came with a big thick lyrics booklet (in Japanese and English) which was very detailed. Did everyone else get this? Have to go to class now. But will have a good listen when I come back!!
