I figured this concert would make a good use of my last leave day from work so I went a head and bought a couple of tickets.
I was looking forward to the subsequently cancelled Christmas show last year so I'm very much looking forward to this year's!

Hello Martin and everyone A bit of breaking news yesterday from them both, but not yet confirmed, is that Lee will be a guest singer at the Barbican concert in December. Uh-Oh! Looks like somebody jumped the gun! This appears in the Barbican Christmas Festival brochure published in August. Best wishes Grant

Hi Grant Yes, I believe they have. Kathryn was quite clear yesterday when she said that it was not yet confirmed which I take to mean contracts not yet signed. But we all know that venues often promote before everything is sewn up in order to boost early ticket sales.
Best wishes Martin

Wow, that's a pretty flyer! It's so nice to see that glamorous photo of Hayley being used rather than the same old one from the Treasure photo shoot. The set list sounds amazing! What Child Is This is being performed! My favourite! Too bad the concert is on the other side of the world!

Hi All If anyone is planning to stay overnight for this one and have not yet booked accommodation then be aware that Holiday Inns has extremely good rates for 21st Dec at present. For example, there is a Holiday Inn Express within one mile of Barbican offering a double room + breakfast for £29.

Hello everyone, Just a quick reminder say that even though there are 2,000 seats to fill at this Barbican Hall concert, well over half of the hall capacity seems to have been filled so far. So if like me you have had to delay booking and want a good seat, now is the time to book (before Hayley is on TV next early month!) By having to delay, I have ended up in the front row of the circle (one odd seat was available) as no decent centre-stalls seats were available. I shall watch over the assembled HWI 'masses' below and no doubt will sneak down there in the interval! Cheers, Dave

Hi Dave,
Yes, that's what I did at Stoke last year. It worked well and I even managed the video that you are well awareof.

Well Dave not quite all the front row seats in the circle had gone. I've just bagged A52. Hopefully my Salisbury flu will have gone by then or I shall be sneezing over those seated in the stalls below !! Now all I've got to worry about is the tube drivers' strike.

The latest news on ticket sales for this concert is very good indeed. Approximately 90% of the tickets have now been sold with still over 6 weeks to go. I am sure that a few have also been sold to Lee Mead's fans! Let's hope it will be a full house to wish Hayley a Happy Christmas before her return home. Martin
