NEW PHOTOSHOOT!! PERFECT!!
That's a really good cover... the white and the red work really well to capture the theme.
I'm so glad that the cover isn't something 'blah' that was just quickly cobbled together. This will definitely stand out on the shelves.

Hi everyone, Wow! Jillian, I think the album will have two fantastic sets of artwork. I'll keep in the jewel case. I can't wait until we see the final tracklist. I wonder if still will have 23 tracks (24 on the Japanese version). I see the release date has been pushed back. I'm a little disappointed with that, but my excitement has not been toned down. I hope it's available in North America. I have a gift certificate I've been hoping to spend on it. ~NL |

Hi everyone, I see the release date has been pushed back. I'm a little disappointed with that, but my excitement has not been toned down. Hi NL, Myself, I'm quite pleased with the release date, it's well placed to catch the pre-Christmas gift market that will then be starting to get in full swing. A week later might be even better but of course, Decca will have many high profile artists to juggle, all fighting to get the "perfect" release date and wanting to avoid clashes with each other. The challenge is to be high in the chart on December 1st (2 weeks later) because then, you are "locked in" to the manic December sales rush due to far fewer new releases in December. Supermarket prominence in release week is the key to a successful Christmas album, let's hope Hayley achieves that (but last year's only modest success, 'River of Dreams' won't help, unfortunately - neither will Katherine Jenkins "Best of" and Fron Male Voice choir also having a 16th November release date.  ). As the rest of the Christmas releases are announced, not only by Decca, there may be some movement in the release date as everyone jostles for position, this happens every year. Hi all, Amazon.com is listing the Winter Magic (Import) release date of October 6.  Link I was thinking about the new CD pic...glad Decca didn't photoshop a coat and Santa hat on Hayley! Joe |

Whilst I think this is a stunning album cover and yes, obviously a new photoshoot for it, but I don't agree with the apparent need to make changes to such a stunning countenance as Hayley's using Photoshop!
This is the first time I've noticed this, never in previous shoots so why now? Most purchasers won't notice - I didn't at first. Has anyone else spotted what they've done?
The track list looks very different from the one previously suggested and I'm disappointed that "O Holy Night" is not included. Other than that, it looks great.
