I think, on last FM, when you are a registered user, there's a list of favourite artisits that you listen to, so that may be the "listeners". While the "plays" may be the times someone played a song by the artist on last FM... not sure about this, though.

There are some interesting stats on there. Hayley's most popula song is Dark Waltz. Don't see much from WM. But it does show a competely different picture of artist relative popularity than the charts, or what is stocked in the shops, or amount of airplay.
Radio 2 is playing Katherine Jenkins' "Angels" (which I'll admit is a cut above their usual stuff) this week, but no sign of anything from Hayley. I think I should demand a refund of my licence fee!!

Hi Nicola, Not sure what these statitics mean. What is the difference between a "play" and a "listener"... Are they measuring the number of hits in some different kinds of way? Or is this telling us that on average each person that visits the site and listens to Hayley ten times, and to Katherine fout times (ish)? Martin Hello Martin, Last.FM is a radio site, and it has software that works out what you listen to and how much on your iPod and on the computer. Therefore, the amount of listeners is how many different people listen to Hayley either on their radio, or on their own computer/iPod. The amount of 'plays' is how many times those listeners have listened to Hayley songs. It's good to have your own page. You can see who I listen to the most, and how many times I have played them. The drawback is that it obviously doesn't take into account what I listen to on my MP3 player of hi fi system. www.last.fm/user/MirtrioneEDIT: Dark Waltz is always on the top of that chart. Always. Never seen anything else on the top. Precisely why I expressed surprise when the song was omitted from the RoD album - because it's so popular.

Dark Waltz is by far Hayley's best song, yes. It's utterly hauntingly beautiful.
As for the Last FM stats - I presume it's a worldwide thing, not just a UK thing. So either Hayley's fans are more dedicated than Katherine's (Giving Hayley better stats) or Katherine is more of a UK powerhouse with limited appeal elsewhere, whilst Hayley has a greater worldwide popularity. Either could be so...

It's definitely the latter Elliot. You can't "cheat" last.fm. You can play her songs a hell of a lot, but you can't change the amount of "listeners". KJ is not known anywhere else in the world, and Hayley is. But this is the internet world. Most of KJ's fanbase won't be on the internet.

Hi all, Success...I finally bought my "Winter Magic" in Borders. It was the only one there. The case has a crack on the front though Joe

I just saw on the website, via the "in-store inventory" that WM is "likely in stock" at all the Borders' in my area. I'm almost tempted to go and buy one, even though I really don't need it, and I already bought one through B & N.

We gave my mom Winter Magic for her birthday today (ordered from Amazon.com) but since she and Dad are going out Christmas shopping... guess who gets to stay home & listen to the CD while baking cookies? No complaints here!

A week and two days fater ordering it in Earthquake, when I was starting to be concerned that maybe it wouldn't be in time to make my Christmas truly magic, finally... I got that awesomeness that is caleld Winter Magic! I can't believe it, it is personally signed by Hayley... "love Hayley"... maybe it's even the first item signed by Hayley that gets to Spain!?
And, It's Only Christmas is cuch an amazing song! One of her best duets, in my opinion!

That article isn't nice about any of the other artists though!
