Thanks for that link, Libby. I like part of the description in the News section: But Decca US needs to update Hayley's Biography...a lot has happened in four years. Joe

The word 'ignorant' is not an offensive term. If you are not aware of something or do not understand it, it makes you ignorant of that thing. It doesn't make you ignorant of life at large, just ignorant of MY stand point, which is not an entirely important thing in the first place. I'm ignorant about American politics, rap music and biochemistry. *shrugs* It doesn't matter to me. Don't worry about it, and I'm sorry that I used a term that appears to have so many negative connotations, but it was the correct word to use.

I think what we all need now is a basket full of puppies -- that will make everyone feel better. No need to let this misunderstanding run any further than it has already -- we're all here just to enjoy ourselves.

Make it a basket full of Alaskan Malamute puppies, and we'll talk.

Maybe my dog can cheer you all up a bit too? Click on image to enlarge Sharon I replaced the image with a clickable thumbnail. The large photograph is too big for the forum. Richard

The word 'ignorant' is not an offensive term. I'm ignorant about...rap music and biochemistry. *shrugs* . So am I! It wasn't the word itself, it was the way it was said in the entire phrase/sentence. But I don't want us to argue anymore, so... Now, Toby isn't a Malamute puppy, but he is awfully cute. Jillian thinks so, I know that! Sandy, no pets allowed in Australia?? I'm never living there (not that I was planning to)!

I tried making the photos smaller in photobucket, but for some reason that does not translate onto here. Please don't delete them, Richard! He's too cute to delete, even if he is off-topic.

Okay, back on topic (I promise I'll stay!): The same person on Twitter (he might be a member here, actually) also gave me this link to her album on Best Buy: www.bestbuy.com/site/Winter+Magic+%5B11/23%5D+-+CD/9564839.p?id=2057269&skuId=9564839&st=Hayley Westenra&lp=4&cp=1 Notice how they say "Label: Decca (USA)". I like how they say "Contemp. Pop Vocal" for the album's genre, and not "classical", because it isn't any more classical than other artists' Christmas albums, who aren't considered classical artists. I'm starting to feel more confident that this is an error by Amazon. Maybe they're getting confused because they are going to have the UK version, too, since they have the UK versions of her other albums, too. However, I will restrain myself by not ordering anything until they're all released. If it turns out that it is an import after all, I'll just get the UK version, so I can have the duet. Another thing, $13.99 is awfully cheap for an import! The "list" price is the same as the current price of River of Dreams, though. But I think that is cheaper than it was at first, too.

Sandy, no pets allowed in Australia?? I'm never living there (not that I was planning to)! Well, rabbits are banned as pets in Queensland where I live. This has a lot to do with them breeding like crazy and they devastate the natural environment. In Western Australia in 1901, they actually went to the extreme length of building 3, 253 km (2021 miles) long 'rabbit proof' fence to try to stop them spreading. A pity, because they're so beautiful! On topic, I'm glad that everything is cleared up about the US release. As a Christmas album it's an easy release and it makes sense to have it out in the US.

Hi Dave
Picked this up on Twitter from a US fan. Something I've (and perhaps others) have been wondering. Any thoughts?
Best wishes Grant
