Anyone else seeing a very different Twitter at the moment? Since yesterday morning all I see is a tweet list in the centre of my screen and a grey background Also several of the features no longer seem to work although I can still tweet and my background picture has disappeared. Cheers Grant

Hi Grant, looks the same to me - I've tried different computers and browsers. Looks like something has got clobbered in your setup. Have you tried a different browser and checked your Twitter profile?
Also, make sure you are displaying the home page by clicking the "Home" button at the top left of the screen.

Now I have to choose a different browser in order to see the full twitter Any suggestions guys ? Cheers Grant

I've used both Firefox and Chrome (and IE9). And my four different computers all use different browsers. But I think Firefox is probably the best, despite the frequent annoying upgrades you get offered, that then stop your plugins from working for a while. Chrome is useful since I was able to bend it to do certain naughty things I won't talk about. But I'd go for Firefox.

Cheers Grant On advice from a very bright and mischievous 5 year old, I switched over to Google Chrome. You do have to import your bookmarks and it does look slightly different to IE or Firefox, but it seems to have resolved a lot of problems I was having with crashing when I was directed unwittingly to You Tube or other links with video content. That alone was worth the changeover.

Hi guys Thanks for your recent advice regarding browsers. I've ended up with Google Chrome (swung for me by a close friend who swears by it) I have found it extremely fast compared to Internet Explorer and I particularly like the function that allows me to choose to automatically opens certain sites. The only down side I can see at the moment is that the font type/size here has changed. This does not appear to have happened with other sites I use. is this a Proboards or a google feature and can I change it to one I like? I haven't been able to find the answer myself yet Cheers Grant

Hi Grant,
I've noticed that the forum font and size differs slightly in various browsers.
Best wishes, Joe

Hello Grant! You can change the default font and text size in Firefox by clicking on Tools, then Options and Content, so you should be able to do the same in Chrome. Note this only changes the forum text on your computer, not anybody else's. Eureka! In Chrome, click on the three horizontal lines at the top right, select 'Settings', then scroll down and click on 'Show advanced settings'. Under 'Web content', click on 'Customize Fonts' and you can change the default font and text size under 'Standard font'. My personal preference is Arial at size 16, but take your pick. There are lots of additional options in 'Settings' too. Richard
