Margaret Keys

I came across this CD today in NZ called Legato by Margaret Keys. She is from Ireland and is a young Soprano performing classical crossover, light opera, musical theatre and Irish traditional. This CD was produced in NZ but I don't think she has any NZ connection. She graduated from the Royal Scotland Academy of Music and Drama with a master degree. She was a winner of the BBC Fame Academy and New York Artist Award.
She has an operatic type voice very similar style to Katherine Jenkins and I think she has a promising future.

Hi Ross,

I recall reading about Margaret a few months back, when the fact that she was releasing an album became known. At that point, I was eager to hear what she would sing. Personally, I like the tracklist (although I can't say I find her voice like Katherine Jenkins's), and I think her voice is very nice. She's not my favourite singer, but I'm looking forward to see progressions in her career! Certainly one to look for in the headlines sometime soon.
