I think it's such a waste to buy a beautiful dress and only wear it once! It may be fun to shop for dresses, but isn't also nice to wear a dress because it's pretty? And if it's so pretty, why would you want to put it back in the closet, never to be worn again? I'd be disappointed if she only wore all of her dresses once. Although the lavender one might never be seen again. She's not the richest celebrity, either. She has described herself as being thrifty, I think. She said she once bought an expensive pair of jeans, and wore them everyday for a year to get her money's worth!

Hi Libby, You're right, it's nice to wear those favourite dresses again and again. Also, the celebrities you see that never wear the same dress/outfit twice -- they often don't buy them themselves. Clothing designers send them clothes for free in the hope that they'll wear them and raise publicity for their brand. I remember an interview with quite a famous actress where she said that it was ironic that when she was less wealthy and lesser known she would have killed for the free clothes and when she finally earned the money to go out an buy whatever she wanted there were mountains of freebies! Back on topic, there doesn't seem to be a clear winner yet -- the Red Poppy Dress, Celtic Dress, the Lavender Dress and the 2009 Classical Brits dresses seem to be in the lead, though.

Hi Jillian & All. I voted for #5, #9 & #11. I don't know exactly why I did so can give no logical reason for those three. I was acutely aware too that yet another gorgeous dress has entered the field....the Taipei Dress. It has Hayley written all over it !!! Graeme

Hey Jillian,
I never got to see the results of this poll earlier, but it looks like the Red Poppy Dress is quite far in the lead.
I guess the poll is still open if anyone hasn't voted.

Voted for the Blue Dress, it has a kind of simplicity and peaceful romanticism. I think it is the one that stronger shows Hayley as the down to earth young woman she is, and I really like the simple and casual beauty it shows on her. Voted for the Ivory Dress, quite for opposite reasons than the Blue one. Hayley truly looks as an elevated princess from an sancient time or a mighty tale. It's the way she makes us feel when she sings, that transformation into the purest eleganzy and tranquility coming from the perfect balance between seriousness and sweetness. Voted for the Red Poppy Dress, it has something funny but keeps some kind of relaxed elegancy, transmits happ'inness and joy of life.
