I tweeted you back Peter  Have had a very quick look at the web site and will check it out more thoroughly when I have a bit more time. Thanks for the link. Best wishes Grant

Hi Grant.
Haven't picked that one up yet. However, my email box advised me that Martindn had tweeted me and I posted a private tweet back wondering how many other HWI members also tweet. If anyone replies, perhaps they ought to create a new thread 'HWI tweets'. Or does HWI already tweet officially?
Yours aye
Peter S.

Hello everyone Well I guess it's going to be rather quiet for photo's until we get into the Winter Magic tour so I thought it might be nice to share something a little bit different with you. Early last week I was taken to the most unusual place close to Junction 38 of the M1. Now I wouldn't say that I'm the greatest fan of sculptures of any kind but the variety of subjects, amazing backdrops, autumn colour and late October sunshine made my day out to the Yorkshire Sculpture Park one to remember. "Molecule Man" is three-dimensional, 40 ft tall and made from stainless steel Part painted head in bronzeThese strange galvanised steel shapes looked as though they might be the remains of an alien space craft! The head of a 25 foot tall rabbit constructed from galvanised wireNot sure about this pair! Best wishes Grant

Seeing all these pictures of everyone here made me think of something to post from my hometown 'Groningen...' So that's what I'll do
Our famous Martini Tower Hej FULL Member, Looks like I found your missing tower. Beautiful places, especially the Market Square. Greetings from Ireland. Paddy P.S. I see signs of many jet planes flying over Groningen .......

Great pictures Sharon - I've visited the Netherlands several times but never been to Groningen - looks like I missed a treat.

... P.S. I see signs of many jet planes flying over Groningen ....... That's no laughing matter. It's especially bad here in the midwest USA -- aka "flyover country" -- where the perfect day with perfectly blue skies is always ruined by the trails these planes leave behind. By late afternoon the skies will have a thin cloud cover as a result of this.

Thanks for sharing your photographs, Sharon! I fixed the first picture in your post by removing the extra pair of image tags. Love, Richard

Thank you all for the replys... Groningen is always a 'forgotten' place by many tourists (excepts Germans, cause we live close to the German border) It's not as huge as Amsterdam, but it's in many ways better actually... i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gifAnd there are not always as many plane trails, only a few, in this pic there just have been a lot... It doesn't really bother me though. And Sandy, as I read in another topic, you are living in a dream place! Thanks Richard for removing the extra image tags, I noticed them later (too late)... Sharon
