Hi again Jono Throwing yourself on the floor in front of her and asking her to marry you will result in unpredictable behaviour from her minder. HaHa! Very funny Graeme! Most of us would freely admit to being totally spellbound, awestruck and speechless the first time we met Hayley, managing only a few words of jibberish and a weak smile Thing is to relax and pretend your in the queue for the supermarket checkout - Hayley is very easy to talk to and you wonder afterwards why you were nervous. I remember the first time I had my picture taken with her - I'd already met her three times before, but didn't know whether I should put my arm around her or just stand close. I needn't have worried because it was Hayley who put her arm around me! Whatever happens, it will be a meeting you will remember for a very long time. Best wishes Grant

Cheers for the welcome msgs and tips! Question: Are there any Polls on this forum for the Age and Location of members? Hi Jono, That's a very good question! Hm, would anybody like to start that? I think that's a really good idea. Actually, why don't I open an whole new thread for people to tell us where they live and how old they are. Dori Thanks! Let me know if you do make one!

Hi Jono & welcome to the forum. After one of Hayley's shows, the expectation is that a table will be set up somewhere & room enough to fit a queue. Hayley will be sat at that table with a minder next to her and a pen in her hand. Quite often CD's will be on sale for people to purchase & her to sign. People also bring things for her to sign....in my case once in Kerikeri last year a tui bird on a card. She is very patient & more than willing for pics to be taken with her & you. She'll also chat freely but is conscious of others behind you needing attention too. If you aim at last in the queue you may have a little more time with her. Also, if there is no signing taking place you can wait outside the stage door. All the above may vanish if she has to hurry away somewhere after a show. Throwing yourself on the floor in front of her and asking her to marry you will result in unpredictable behaviour from her minder. Hope that helps, Graeme Just realised I forgot to reply to this message! Thanks for the detailed advice. I've been to many concerts before, but have never known of artists that stay behind to do signings... Will have to remember this! As for throwing myself on the floor and proposing... hehe, what to say, would love to do that! Duno if such an insane, 'out of the blue' stunt would convince Hayley though, lol.. Jono

Actually, why don't I open an whole new thread for people to tell us where they live and how old they are. You are welcome to try that, Dori, but the response to questions, polls and surveys is often extremely limited and therefore may not give a reliable result. Roger

Yes, Grant I agree about that, I was the same when I first asked Hayley for a photo. However was even more unexpected was the 2nd photo that Hayley took Every meeting with Hayley is still as Special as the first time you say Hello Dean

We should prepare.. hire subscriptions officers, design membership cards, organise committee meetings, etc. (not sarcasm, optimism! )
