Hi All
I have booked four tickets for this splashing event! That will be Denise and I, also my brother Chris and his wife, Tracey. If anyone is looking for overnight accommodation, there is a Travelodge in Sunbury-on-Thames which appears to be less than 2 miles away. There are at least 4 more rooms available at £35 per room. Richard, Martin and Mark - look forward to seeing you there and hopefully a few more will join us.
George

Hi George, It's funny you should mention the Travelodge in Sunbury because that's exactly where Gordon and I will be staying on that very night. And having nothing better to do for the evening, I guess we may as well go to the concert! 72 days to... oh, hang on, I'm supposed to do that in big red letters... 72 days to go. How's that? See you there, Roger

I'll be going to this! I am being treated this summer! In July I have an open prom concert in Devon to see Keedie, the next week going to see Vanessa-Mae in an open concert in Gloucester, and now this.

Hello Nicola! You'll be pleased to know that the shark has given up swimming in the pool. It's taken up skydiving instead! 62 days to go![/color] i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gifSee you there, Richard

Hi
My tickets came yesterday. I will be staying in Central London over that weekend. What would be the best way to travel to the concert from there? Hampton Court Railway station appears to be the nearest? How do you intend to travel there Richard, as I am sure your "local knowledge" is the most reliable.
Cheers
Tony

Hello Tony! Hampton station on the Waterloo to Shepperton line is about a twelve minute walk from Hampton Pool, but if you go to Hampton Court the R68 bus starts just outside the station and stops right by the pool. The R68 also serves Richmond station, which would be a cheaper fare from Waterloo. There are a few watering holes in Hampton Village, but I suggest we meet at the Duke's Head which is only 100 yards from the pool. Please don't worry about the sharks. The one on the roof is actually a sculpture in Headington near Oxford, and the one in the water is a mini submarine designed to film sharks in their natural habitat. Unfortunately the first model was ripped to shreds because they launched it during the mating season! 58 days to go! i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gifSee you there, Richard
