Hi Rodders and everyone I promised a few more pics from our day out yesterday, so here they are. First, the old horse tram that we posed against . After our visit to the museum, and having enjoyed a good lunch Richard suggested a visit to the Royal Opera House. The Atrium looked amazing with blue sky and sunshine. So, to follow, a couple of arty ones! and finally, the reflection of a section of the last picture in the mirror wall Hope you like them Best wishes Grant

Hi everyone, well back in NZ after a wonderful flight home, everything worked out just fine. Yes,even your shall I say “British Weather” no,seriously the weather was actually good for traveling, not too hot, just right. I arrived back in NZ Christchurch about twenty mins or so ahead of schedule,we were due in at 0930hrs and I was actually outside the terminal building having come through the customs etc at the time we should have arrived. Not sure if it was a tail wind across the Tasman or not but we sure made up time somewhere which was good from my side of things. Thanks very much everyone for making my stay in the UK so worthwhile, yes, it is a long way to travel but with friends like HWIers,it is in MOP only a short journey to make,I will for sure all being well, make this journey again. However this thread is by no means closed there are some photo's from me that I will post in due course, so keep yer beady eye on this thread and I will post as soon as I get these photos sorted. In the meantime, take care, give my kindest regards to Hayley the next time you see her, all the best to everyone, thanks very much, cheers, Rodders CH CH NZ.

UK HOLIDAY 2013 Hi everyone yep it is time I ventured outside the SQUARE !! well actually outside NZ. four years agao I visited and the chance to do it again has arrived. So my itenary goes something like this:- July 13th depart Ch Ch first stop Singapore, two nights there and then continue on to Heathrow arriving around 0730 (7.30am) where I will be staying at the Nayland Hotel Paddington for three nights Tuesday 16th July If anyone is at a loose end and wants to meet up thats fine Friday 19th I head off to Dorset untill the 26th after which I fly over to Dublin and join Paul (comet) for a few days and then fly direct to Edinburgh for three nights taking in the Military Tattoo at the Castle. Sunday Aug 4th I travel down to Leeds for three nights and then travel via London to Brighton. I haven't been there since before we came to NZ about 1958. Unfortunatly I didn't have time to get there last time I was in the UK,but I have an extended holiday this time round 10 years service leave. At this stage I travekl back towards London and orthough I am waiting to hear back from family members the last week from Aug 11th untill Aug 22nd nothing as yet has been organised but this could change as time gets closer. I look forward to possibly meeting up with you at some point during my visit. cheers for now, Rodders

Wow, Rodders, that looks like real fun!! Looking at the pictures from your last trip... I hope this trip carries you with as much fun and good weather as last time! I won't be able to see any of you, as I am not a UK lass.
