According to the Christchurch Press Susan Boyle is going to be on BGT tonight. I bet just about everyone in the UK will be watching lol. There was a full page in the Press about how the village has been invaded by tourists and paparazzi. And I hear the You Tube video is now one of the top most watched videos (180 million hits). If that translated into an album sale she would be a rich lady lol.

I think the pressure got to Susan at the start, but she finished magnificently. There was never any doubt who was going to win that round.
Truth is, I doubt anyone else is competing for more than second place in the whole competition, this year. Even Paul Potts wasn't THAT certain of victory.

Despite what the judges said (they clearly chose to overlook her state of nerves) she was rather wobbly on some of those first notes. Peter S.

hI all Only a personal opinion but I thought Susan Boyles performance of Memories was poor.I would have buzzed her.Keep an eye out for Gareth's vent act particulary if he uses Jullian the British Pavarotti.I saw his act in a variety show recently and he is the best vent act I have ever seen.

Hello Stephen! Your post woke me from my slumber, so I watched the video. I agree that Susan Boyle gave a poor performance. Richard

Hi all,
I thought Susan did rather well. Although her start was a little wobbly, she got stuck in and delivered a wonderful performance.
Now I've not seen any of the other acts on BGT, but I do hope she wins!

Hi Richard, I dont think Hayley has anything to worry about!!.Keep an eye out for the vent act.The audition they showed did not reflect his true tallent. They are clearly holding back on his best routines.

Hi Richard and all, Hope you caught Gareth and his act with Julian aka" Pavapotts".I was really upset that he did not make it through. The next character would have been Grandad. If i was Hayley's management team I would sign him up to tour with Hayley.Forget Jonathan Ansell lets have a Hayley and Pavapotts duet.Pavapotts would also go down well at next years Classic Brits!!

I agree with you Stephen that i wanted the ventriloquist to win. I think we need that variety of choice in the finals. I thought his take-off of Pavarotti superb. I rang continuously but never got through so there must have been some close voting.

hi Peter, When I saw him he was on tour with Brian Conley. The whole show was fantastic with two leading West End singers as well. I have a feeling we will see more of him on the TV when no doubt Grandad will put in an appearence.
