But Richard, the blue one in the photo above has 2 shades of blue, dark blue and a lighter blue. The tie is dark blue. Yet in the Il Divo tour photos, the dress is only one shade of green. I don't see how you get turquoise from dark blue, even with the lighting. You'd think the dark part would be darker, and the lighter part would be lighter, but it isn't. Isn't it possible there's just a green version of the dress?

I must admit, I agree with Libby on this. There has been the odd shot of a very green version of that dress. I've pondered whether the two could be one and the same, and arrived at the conclusion that they are not.
It was so nice seeing the red dress again in the RAH photos! I've always loved her one-shouldered dresses; they look so Grecian.

Hi Libby, Nordly, Richard and everyone There have been countless discussions about the colour of this dress. I had a light hearted argument with Peter Such about it during the interval of Hayley's Gawsworth Hall concert in 2006. I always maintained that the dress was green but Peter's view was that it was definitely blue - we decided to ask Hayley after the concert and she confirmed that it was blue. I think she would have said then if she also had a green one as she was rather amused by the fact that two mature men were interested in the colour of her dress! Best wishes Grant

Well, the lighting must have been really weird then. Or maybe she hadn't bought the green one yet. :rollin

Here's another photo of that dress (or one of them!), it's an enlargement of part of a wide angle photo that I took in June 2006 at Cardiff. I have dozens of photos of it and they all look much the same to me, like this one... but I am a bit colour blind so I'll leave the discussion on colours to the rest of you! I have corrected the colours by letting the computer balance the known whites to white and known greys to grey, so the colours should be as true as you are going to get from this set of photos. I left some of the schoolchildren (white shirts) and the conductor (grey/black jacket) in shot to help colour judgement. There are also some known greens blues and yellows in shot but of course, the use of spotlights on Hayley may have altered things slightly if tightly focused on her. Dave, it's by the same designer of the blue/green dress, but it's definitely not the same dress. This one has a wide sash/belt, whereas the one on the blue/green one has a narrower tie in the front, where the part you actually tie is in the front. However, the color of that dress could be questionable, too. I would say it's a metallic chocolate brown in that photo, but it looked more black in the one that just shows the top of the dress. And then of course, there's coral/pink/orange dress. i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gif

Hayley wore the "Orange" dress in Derry which kinda surprised me I wonder if she knew the implications of the colour in the North of Ireland She said something like this : "Do you like my dress, It's a new one, very exciting ! Actually, I'll give it a twirl, I never had a dress quite so bright, Actually, But I do like it, I do like it " and she did a twirl to show of its flowing design. It would also seem to be an accident prone dress as it seems to get caught in microphone stands, piano stools, heels etc..

And regarding the color, a concert goer asked her about it, and she said it was orange. Although she seemed to agree about coral, too. So, I think it must be more orange than pink, and only shows up as pink in certain lights. Even her hair looks different on stage than in real life.

Hi everyone, I think that I've mentioned this before, but I'll mention it again! i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gif The gold dress worn by Hayley to the 2008 Fifi Fragance awards is designed by Xterity. Xterity also designed Hayley's red dress she recently wore at the Royal Albert Hall, her Classical Brit 2008 dress, her pink Classical Brit 2008 nominations dress and her black butterfly dress she wore to the Iron Man Premiere. www.xteritylondon.com/Cheers, Jillian

Don't like it, or the excessive makeup.
You forgot to mention the green dress she wore to the Classical Brits, including the performance with Jonathan Ansell, is also by Xterity. She even said so in an interview.

There's a blue-ish dress she wore for a concert in Japan (maybe) I think it was for her album HSJS. I saw it on a youtube video (she was singing the HSJS Amazing Grace, I believe) and the video wasn 't of best quality and I couldn't find a pictures. It was almost a knee-length dress, and, as I said it was blue-ish, but it looked like it had some light green in it. There was definitely some kind of pattern to this mysterious summery dress.
Does anyone have any idea what my tired-college-student-still-up-at-3:43AM mind is trying to convey?!

I think this dress is by designer La Petite Salope. Hayley has a couple of dresses from that label Cheers, Jillian How can a label choose such a name ??!! For those of you who might not know, it means: the little pregnant dog/very *friendly* person I wonder if they knew what it means when they chose this name Because it's not attractive at all, I mean, I wouldn't buy clothes from a label wearing a name like that because I would wonder twice what kind of clothes they design, and moreover for what kind of buyers...!!! The strangest part is that their clothes are not bitchy at all; at least, the two dresses they designed and that Hayley wore are very beautiful
