Fiona can be lively one minute and very reflective the other. Her music can create a rainbow of moods and emotions........ More tomorrow !

I see Fiona isn't wearing any shoes. Neither does violinist Mairead of Celtic Woman.

Thanks for your support guys and thanks Steve and Stuart for another selection of fantastic action shots. Fiona certainly doesn't make life easy with her rapid movements. I tried a few concert shots but by the time I pressed the button she was nowhere to be seen! Best wishes Grant

Actually Mairead hasn't performed without shoes since last year, so she yields the floor to Fiona.

Hi Jono, For more info on Fiona Pears (from NZ), have a look at the many threads on: hwi.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=fionaFiona and Ian (Tilley) are not only great musicians but very nice people ... and decent too. Paddy Cheers Paddy! I looked her up and my initial opinion is that she's good. I'll have to look out for her CD's in shops/auctions. For reasons mentioned below: 1) You guys seem to like her music, and you clearly all have good taste! 2) Any friend of Hayley is a friend of mine! 3) I like the instrument/ style of music! 4) She's a Kiwi (yes I'm biased). 5) My initial opinion, mentioned above. Yes, I know I'm weird for listing reasons, lol! And I know the CD's are available on her website, but I'd rather shop around first.. Jono

Hi guys. I am STARTING to get the hang of modern media and here is the Youtube post of Fiona playing: www.youtube.com/watch?v=77Jtxhcm1u4. Whether any more is wanted, I'll see on your responses. Mind you, that comment presupposes there is anything more to share. I was really just 'playing around' with the camera but since seeing those appalling promo posts for Raven I thought I would try and see if I could make a useful contribution. I will see if there are camera stills of HWI members worth putting up or if there is anything to show of the church for those unable to visit. Yours aye. Peter S.

Hi Peter
Many thanks for sharing your video with us. It's certainly good to see Fiona 'live' as it were and I'd love to see more when you have time.
Best wishes Grant

Thanks, Richard, Grant and Gordon.
It is all a new world for me and much to learn across a range of fields but it wets my appetite and I am looking to exploring further.
Your positive responses are helpful to know others are interested, otherwise it is too easy to get wrapped up in one's own perceptions, unaware of whether those views are shared. There is some more work, perhaps one or two more takes worth posting--in due course!
