Hello Libby! I unstickied this thread when Hayley stopped posting on her old Facebook page. I've now stickied it again, and I've also added the new link to the first post so it's easier to find. Best wishes, Richard

Thanks! I think it's funny how, in the Info part, Hayley's official website is listed as her official facebook page! Whoops!

Hayley's tweet showed up on Facebook today! Hooray, just what I've been suggesting and hoping for.

Hi Libby, She's already had 63 comments and about 250 'likes' to her latest post -- which dare I say it is more responses than she gets on twitter. Excellent move, as this seems to have dramatically increased Hayley's exposure. i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gifCheers, Jillian

...I think it's funny how, in the Info part, Hayley's official website is listed as her official facebook page! Whoops! Funny but also practical. Facebook has more potential as a social medium than any other website and will probably supplant her official site as the main interface in due time. Did you know that a lot of major artists are using Facebook exclusively now in place of an official site? That's the trend now. It saves money not having to maintain a dedicated site and it reaches (potentially) many millions more eyeballs.

I remember when my friends first told me I should get a Facebook page/profile--and that was 6 years ago (I'm 19 now, 20 in March)! But it seems so much longer than just 6 years!! I especially agree with you about the 'many millions more eyeballs' Happy [Early] Spring! Paige devotedfan xxx

All that may be true, but since her website still exists, it's still good to list it. Of course, it's not that hard to figure out that the link isn't her facebook page. I mean, why would you post the link to your FB page, on your FB page? Anyhow, it's still an error that ought to be corrected, minor though it is. See, Jillian and all, this is exactly why I thought they should do this, and I'm so glad they did. Because just telling people to find her on Twitter probably doesn't quite have the same effect. This way is much better; it's why so many other artists are doing it.

Hayley's official website does not yet provide a link to her Facebook page. Instead they have a link to her old MySpace account (which hasn't been updated since October of 2009!).

Hello folks! MySpace seems to be redundant now. Hopefully Hayley's official website will be revamped with a link to Facebook when her new album is released. Richard

could her lack of "exposure" be because of her websites, etc dont get updated often if at all? i have been to her website lots of times and its still the same ol' same ol'...you know i think i just answered my own question...lack of updates arent the issue...but perhaps a small part...?

Hayley's twitter in part, addresses this.. its more current.... it makes a poor comment about a website if things happen and the website isnt updated. i hoep they dont fall into the trap of just leaving the facebook as a sort of visiting point. people will get bored really quick and go elsewhere

Richard there ws talk about myspace becoming more integrated with facebook... from the point of view of becoming the music page to facebook's social networking site..... you'd have to go there for it to be of use though im going to drag back some history here..... does anyone still use BEBO? the spiderman

Then they fall asleep again (but are to some extent dependent on Hayley's management for updates). I am sure they are hard at work as we speak, re-doing her website for launch in time for the new album. When they re-launch it is probably when Hayley's official Facebook will spring into life too. Yes, as I mentioned not too long ago (somewhere on here), I've recently learned from a reliable source that we "can expect a completely new Hayley website in the near future".
