Hi all, I hope that my local Borders have the book in stock later today! Joe Wishful thinking. I've never been so disapponted walking out of the store. I also hoped to buy the 'Jekyll' DVD. I was glad to see two copies of WSS though. Looks like I'll have to buy the book online! Joe

Hi Everyone, I was very interested to discover this morning that Hayley has a book out so i made a short detour into town on the way home from work to see if I could find a copy. Unfortunatly the only shop that sells books in Newcastle-under-Lyme is WHSmith, they didn't have a copy and they couldn't even find it on their system when I asked them! So I have ordered it from play.com, the good old internet, hopefully I will get it Wednesday or Thursday. Interesting that there are going to be signings as well, not sure if I will be able to make one because of work, unless it is Manchester or Birmingham after 5pm, but we will see. Dazza

Dazza, When i went in at the weekend i noticed that Waterstones in Hanley had a copy. I always thought there was some kind of book store in Newcastle, obviously my memory serves me false information.

Hi Danny,
There was a book shop called ‘Book Land’ on the corner of Merrial Street but it closed down about two years ago. Now we are left with WHSmith and I think that Woolies stock a few too.
As I cycle to work, I wouldn’t be able to get to Hanley until the weekend unfortunately, so the best thing for me was to order it online.

Hi Drew, They are probably still working on all the details. Hopefully we will have more information very soon. Having said that, Hayley's official website has not even mentioned the Auckland signing so I wouldn't be too surprised if we have no more details about the UK signings. Stephany Yes, that sounds like par for the course with the official website. We have a huge Borders here in Bournemouth and recent authors doing signings have included Lesley Garrett and Katie Melua. They even have a piano in the basement for concerts. HINT ! HINT ! It would make up for the disappointment when the Celtic Women show was cancelled here in September. EVEN BIGGER HINT !

Hello everyone After several failed attempts, I have managed to put together my own review which I posted on Amazon a few minutes ago. Surprisingly, it went 'on line' almost immediately, so I hope you like it. You can see it on line HEREOr here Best wishes Grant I enlarged the text in the quote. Richard

Hi Grant That's a great review (in your own voice!) - spot on and succinct. Why don't you also send it to your local paper(s) that have book reviews. If it doesn't result is more copies being sold then I'll eat my (chocolate) hat!! i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gifBest wishes Martin

Hi Stephany, Martin and Richard
Thank you for your very positive comments about my review for Amazon. James was a hard act to follow which is why it took me so long to come up with something I was prepared to let anyone see.
I certainly hope the reviews so far help to sell a few more books. Perhaps, after Hayley's book tour, when a few more folk out there know about it, our collective reviews will help sell "a few thousand copies" as Richard suggests.
Best wishes Grant
P.S. Martin, where did you get your chocolate hat from?

P.S. Martin, where did you get your chocolate hat from? From a chocolate shop near where I live. It sells all sorts of things made from chocolate some of which I couldn't possibly mention here on the Forum. i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gifMartin

Hi Mark The longer you leave it, the more difficult it will be to write. That was my problem! Perhaps you ought to read the book again! Best wishes Grant

Hi all! Today my book arrived. Unfortuneately the package was too big to fit into my mailbox and I wasn't home so I don't have it now. But I've found a message in my mailbox that it can be collected at the post office tomorrow. Guess what I'll do? So, soon I can read the reviews you've written. I've avoided this thread a little because I want to read the book first. Thomas
