It wasn't really a surprise that she sang "Nada Sousou" in Japan. But it's great to hear that she picked "Summer Rain" as well. I'm sure she had a blast singing it !! Hi Everyone Nada Sousou has been posted to YouTube if anyone wants to hear it. Martin

Yes, the girl has an incredible sense of humour. Hi Stephany, I don't know how she does it... when I would fly back from the States to Taiwan (with my parents), it would literally screw me up for about 4 days in terms of jetlag... and getting my sleeping all back in line. The same goes for the time I flew over to Copenhagen Perhaps some folks just can handle it better. And to keep a sense of humour all the while... its pretty impressive... might be because she is still younger... I just reread it and the pool part is pretty funny LOL... Hope you guys remembered to call your moms on mothers day best regards, Peter T.

Handled properly I can recall my first trip across the ditch was geared to going to bed about 8:00pm and sleeping through to about 10:00a.m. by which time I was straight into their time zone.
Coming the other way I have always found it more difficult to adjust. Either way usually 48 hours and I am into full swing. Nowadays I have only to get on the plane and I feel exhausted! But then, I am currently going through an erratic (but hopeully temporary) health patch.

Greetings from Idaho! Hey guys, How are ya? I'm fantastic. In great spirits. Hope you are too. I'm in Boise, Idaho at the moment, backstage at the Velma V. Morrison Centre getting ready for the tonight's show. I'm sitting in the hair and make-up room getting all dolled up with the rest of the Celtic Woman girls and, as usual, we all are in fits of laughter. We have some great personalities on tour, including Nil (make-up) and Ryan (hair) who always keep us amused. So, where to start? Well, as some of you may know, I was in New Zealand for a week of album promotion at the end of last month. Unfortunately I only had a couple of days in my home city of Christchurch so I only was able to see my family briefly and meet up with one close friend who resorted to coming round to my house to watch me pack. My family and I did quite well though, considering. We managed to squeeze in a trip to our lovely local Indian restaurant for dinner, a movie at home (Flightplan…a little too scary for me though!), some shopping for all and lots of hugs of course! It wasn't much fun saying goodbye to everyone at the airport, but it was nice to have Mum accompany me around New Zealand for my work commitments. During my trip home I performed on the New Zealand version of 'Dancing With The Stars'. I sang 'The Water Is Wide' from my latest album as the votes were being counted. I found myself really nervous! I assume this was because 'DWTS' is NZ's biggest TV show at the moment and I knew all of my friends and relatives would be watching. Despite the nerves though, I did enjoy myself tremendously. I met up with the super-talented and forever-funny Jason Gunn who is the host of the show and whom I used to work with quite a bit as a youngster. He's watched me grow up so it was nice to be working with him once again. I also had the honour of singing the National Anthem at the dawn ANZAC day service in Wellington. Thousands gathered in darkness and in almost silence. It felt so special to be there and to have the opportunity to pay my respects to those who had lost their lives and to those who had given so much to us all. Three of my Great Uncles were fighter pilots in WW2, one of which lost his life, and so this added to the significance of the day for me. Australia was my next stop. I was in the country for 2 days - one in Sydney and one in Melbourne -doing album promotion. I performed on some TV shows, talked on a number of radio stations and gave interviews for the local magazines and papers. I also had a signing at 'Readings' where I sang a few numbers accompanied by guitar, was then interviewed on stage and afterwards, met the wonderful audience and signed albums. This was the highlight of the trip for me. So I'm now back in the US on the Celtic Woman tour and having an all-round fantastic time. Must get back to work. We have a show to do! Look after yourselves… Hayleyx PS. Photos coming shortly!! I still haven't been able to hunt down a camera-laptop cord!

Hi Caite, Thank you so much for Hayley's blog !! It was great to read her since I haven't listened or viewed her for over 3 weeks ! She writes so energetically; of course she feels the energy of the audience coming up as well. I can imagine her having the time of her life with CW. They are all such wonderful people ! Love, Marianne

Caite, thanks a lot for posting Hayley's latest blog! As usual, it was a delight to read it. I'm sitting in the hair and make-up room getting all dolled up with the rest of the Celtic Woman girls and, as usual, we all are in fits of laughter. It's fantastic to read that. Hayley's never focusing on the exhausting part of the tour, always the fun & laughs. She must be very good friends with the other girls, now. I also had a signing at 'Readings' where I sang a few numbers accompanied by guitar, was then interviewed on stage and afterwards, met the wonderful audience and signed albums. This was the highlight of the trip for me. *Graeme agrees*

I sang 'The Water Is Wide' from my latest album as the votes were being counted. On her latest album ? Ooh OK, she means "Celtic Treasure". I assumed she would be lost too with all these different versions but apparently not I found myself really nervous! I assume this was because 'DWTS' is NZ's biggest TV show at the moment and I knew all of my friends and relatives would be watching. I really like her honesty. Not everyone would admit being nervous!

Hi Everyone, yes that program DWTS's there is no room for errors,as the show is LIVE. Everything has to be perfect first time,so being a bit nervous is really quite understandable. Hayley did a fantastic job.
WELL DONE HAYLEY
cheers,
Rodders.
