Er.. O Holy Night I think! But I don't know that she has recorded it. The newest recording on Steve's list is five years old! And I generally prefer her "new" voice. She still sings the same songs now, and there days she does so more beautifully than ever. So I prefer and mostly listen to recordings and videos of more recent concerts. I think it would be nice if Hayley made a new Christmas album, perhaps next year. Here I think we are being asked to choose our favourite from these old recordings, not our favourites now. In whch case I think it will have to be "Mary Did you Know. But which version. I think it has to bee the most recent, ie the one from Pure. These days, choosing from those songs, I would probably have gone for The Angel Gabriel.

Definitely "O Holy Night" for me as sung at Christmas Presence in Cardiff 2006. Just beautiful.

I've chosen "Do You Hear What I Hear?" For some reason it's always been a favorite of mine, and I love this version. Hayley and Sophie together

Hi Caitlin,
Yes, I'd forgotten about that one. It is probably my favorite song on MGTY.

All the songs are gorgeous, but my favourite would have to be the new (ie Pure) silent night.

Martin You 2 Martins took the words out of my mouth / keyboard. I know its not on the poll but has become my favourite since Dec. 2006. Actually that whole concert is my favourite Christmas Concert ever. I made mp3's too off all the songs in that concert should anybody like them. The original BBC copy was from HWI's Dave. Always beats me why the BBC hasn't made a DVD from their own camera archives.....sigh Graeme

I would also vote for O Holy Night if it was in the poll. Instead I voted for Chestnuts Roasting On An Open Fire. I didn't know this Christmas song before (we don't have this one in France!) and I think it's beautiful. Really sets me up in the mood for Christmas.

I voted for 'Silent Night' from 'Pure', but I would have voted for her wonderful duet with Aled Jones if it had been included in the poll. Hayley also recorded an excellent version of 'Do You Hear What I Hear?' with the Choirboys. Richard

Like Richard, my favourite Christmas song that Hayley has recorded is the 'Silent Night' duet with Aled Jones but my vote went to 'Do You Hear What I Hear' partly because of Sophie's involvement. Why have one Westenra when you can have two! It is Christmas, after all! Roger

This was a very difficult one!
Like some of you, I would have voted for "O Holy Night!" but in the end I chose "Mary Did You Know" from Pure. Of all the Christmas songs I've heard Hayley sing, this one I feel really 'belongs' to her.
Best wishes Grant

I chose Mary Did You Know in MGTY. I didn't have to think actually, this song enchanted me when I heard it in the Live from NZ DVD. But the thing is I don't seem to be able to differentiate the one in MGTY from that in Pure; I got a Japanese version of Pure which has this song as a bonus track but I found it exactly the same as the one I have in MGTY. Probably the Mary song in other versions of Pure are different from that in MGTY? Tin

I went for Silent Night from Pure.
Although, had O Holy Night been there, I would vote for that. I have heard Hayley sing it in concert and she does a fantastic job.
