Hi Martin and everyone I totally agree with your comment about dress No.1 In fact that was pretty much what I was trying to say but you said it better! I should have said in my post that I thought all the dresses in the poll are gorgeous. I just hope that, if Hayley sees it, she doesn't think that we don't like the dresses that don't get many votes. Choosing is always very difficult, yet the end result is often quite predictable Best wishes Grant

I decided to vote for one of the full length, formal, choices and then select one of the rest.
Result .......... 8 Sheer elegance. and ... 5 Cheerful and natural design and pattern.
To be honest I could make a case for any of them !
Best Wishes,
Graham

I voted for the black and gold one. The design is very pretty, and it suits her so nicely. It's modest, too. I really like the orange dress, too. That one's also modest, and I like the beaded straps.

Hi everyone
That's a tough choice. I love the coral dress and the green one she wore at the Classical Brits. I ended up voting for number 2 though because I think Hayley looks stunning in black & gold. Very classy.

Hello Stephany and everybody! I see the two dresses I voted for are practically neck and neck. I still can't decide whether I prefer No.2 or No.8, so I'll be more than happy with a dead heat! i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gifRichard

Hi Richard
It doesn't surprise me that the black and gold dress is in the lead. It is stunning and one that is probably most familiar to members, most of whom will only have seen many of the other dresses in pictures.
I thought the Coral dress would have more in contention though.
Best wishes Grant

Hi Grant and Richard, The Coral dress is somewhat similar to the red dress 8 ( no I don't want to get into a debate about what colour it is ! ) i.e Would people vote for both or would they choose one and a contrast ? ........ I did Best Wishes, Graham

Well, I chose from the ones I have seen her in personally. If I had seen her live in No 8, I might have had to change my vote! I notice the rather nice one she wore at iTunes isn't included.

Well, I chose from the ones I have seen her in personally. Hi All, The fact we have all decided our 'own rules' will make any result hard to interpret. ..... even if it is meant to be a bit off fun. Graham

It is stunning and one that is probably most familiar to members, most of whom will only have seen many of the other dresses in pictures. All of these dresses I've only seen in pictures. If I ever see her live, I won't be too worried about which dress she's wearing; I'll just be amazed and happy that I get to see her at all! I don't think it would change my opinion of the dresses, either. I still like that blue dress she wore a couple years ago! She's wearing it in the photo with the Dalai Lama.

I voted for the "Black and Gold" and the "Pink". I loved the Black and Gold the moment I saw it. And the Pink looks very old-fashioned stylish.
The "Green and White" dress came in very close for me.

I chose Coral and the Green and White dress. I've loved the Coral dress since we first saw it in Buxton. The Green and White dress is quite unlike anything we've seen before and I think it's lovely. It suits Hayley really well too.

This is for Hayley...
Black and gold or pink or green, Or any colour ever seen, All are lovely; each serene, When the audience compares it.
There’s coral, yellow, white or blue, Any colour; every hue, Some familiar, others new When she premieres it.
Which will win, who can guess? Although it couldn’t matter less For it’s not the beauty of the dress, But the one who wears it.
