Hi Peter, "Wow!" Thanks for sharing... It sounds as though Hayley and Jonathan really did bring out the best in one another throughout their performance! Without a doubt it sounds like a very memorable show. I'm sure both artists must really be enjoying the experience of working together... I'm glad you enjoyed plenty of camaraderie with other 'HWI'ers too... I enjoyed your comment about your "regal waving"!!! Andrew

What a fantastic show. Sorry for not catching up with other members. When we went down towards the stalls, the bar area before they allowed us into the auditorium was extremely full and we didn't get chance to reach other members from here. Also, because we had to head back to Coventry so I can head back to Scotland for work tomorrow (oops, later today lol), we didn't exactly hang around after the show.
Anyway, the show was great. Was superb to see Hayley looking and sounding back to full health. We were sat in row D but well to the left side so I didn't attempt any images as the angle gave me a background of the wings (which wasn't the best view lol) but it meant I concentrated on enjoying the performances instead. All the expected songs from the programme were included. I enjoyed the whole show, to me the highlights were Hayley and Raven although I was impressed with Jonathon too. Sadly, we had some rather noisy JA fans sat near us who weren't very respectful when he wasn't performing.
Just a quick sidenote, on the way out of the venue, we spotted Dom from Blake who had been seated somewhere in the stalls area.

Hi Keith, It's great to hear from you... Your comments from the Concert are particularly appreciated, since perhaps you have the busiest itinerary of all to consider - well in comparison to that of the other members of 'HWI' who attended the Concert tonight (and not that of Hayley, Jonathan or 'Raven'!!!) I hope you have a save journey North later on... Hopefully you will be able to get a few hours of sleep in before then? Thanks again... Andrew

Not sure whether sleep or Red Bull will be the order of the day today lol Hi Keith, BRILLIANT!!! By the sounds of it you haven't had either yet... It seems that you are currently showing symptoms and traits of the condition which is colloquially known as being "Westenwowed"!!! I can feel the energy from here! Andrew

The effect has been here since 2003 so I think the addiction is permanent.
Think I will head to bed listening to the Raven CD and see if that helps me sleep peacefully lol
Cheers

All we need to do now is to develop a strain that is hereditary and the world will be a better place for evermore! Sorry we didn't see you tonight even though you were only one row behind many of us. I think we need a little more practice! Roger

Hello everyone! Well on Friday, my 'Sunday evening' suddenly became free so what better way to spend it than... Sunday Night at the London Palladium! It's very late so suffice it to say that I throughly enjoyed every minute of this concert, Hayley Jonathan and Raven were, all six of them, excellent! Hayley and Jonathan sang several fabulous duets between them, starting with "Un Giorno Per Noi" at the beginning - let no one doubt their ability to sing this "live" every bit as well as it is on record... well better in fact because you never quite get that 'live' concert feeling on any studio album, in my opinion. They ended with "Time to Say Goodbye" and I have never heard Hayley sing it better - she is really growing into this type of ballad as her voice continues to strengthen. Jonathan was very good indeed too, he reminded me of why I wanted G4 to win that talent show they were in years ago... it was his voice... and he is a perfect duet partner for Hayley. But for me, the highlight of the evening was Hayley's beautiful rendition of "I Know You By Heart". I loved Eva Cassidy's voice before I'd even heard of Hayley - it was my interest in her, in fact, that led me to Hayley... a simple remark made in a forum "if you like Eva, you'll probably like Hayley" and... here I am! This song is one of the very best that Eva ever sung, so delicately that it still sends shivers down my spine to this day. Hayley mentioned that Eva recorded it only three weeks before she died... and went on to say that she probably wouldn't be able to do it justice but she was going to try... and what a fabulous try it was! This has got to be on Hayley's next album... I will insist on it! Anyway, that's all from me for now... well apart from a small selection of photos I managed to take from ten rows plus an orchestra pit back. Just to start things rolling, you understand... just give me a couple of minutes to post them. Cheers, Dave

Here are a few sneaky photos from the Palladium... I split my SLR camera up into pieces and took it in, secreted across several pockets of my coat... just in case of any bag searches. i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gifTwo more in a second or two... Dave

Here are the last two for tonight... Raven after their performances... and a wider view of the stage showing nearly everyone... but half of Raven are off the edge! That's it for tonight... I'll leave the close-ups for the experts to post, later today... EDIT Oh... I just had to add this final one.... it shows some of the passion - just look at Jonathan!!! Cheers, Dave

Ha ha, Andrew, you caught me checking on last night! I was just checking if there were any comments last night, but I really had to go to bed. Right now, I really have to go to work, so I can't do the concert any justice right now, but I will write up on it tonight. I had a terrific time, though. I was on such a high after the show that my friend (who has known me for five years) kept asking me what was wrong and why I was acting crazy "You've gone all wide eyed... you're acting weird..." Terrific show. My favourite of the night was 'I Know You By Heart'. Always has been my favourite of Eva Cassidy's and I always thought it underrated. I hope Hayley records it. She made me cry with her rendition, then the tears didn't stop flowing until the end of the programme. I'm sorry I haven't got the time at the moment to read everyone's comments. I'm really glad to have met everyone . I'm just sorry that I had to rush off. I was willing to wait for 30 minutes, but my friend and I had last trains and buses to catch, and obviously, we had work first thing in the morning. Talking of which, I better log off. Review later, promise!

I'm so very sorry to read that Keith. As a Jonathan fan I feel bad about it and I can only apologise and say that it is a "minority" who behave in this way. Sadly you had some near you. It's embarrassing for other Jonathan fans - and I so hope your enjoyment and that of the people around you werent too badly spoiled. Thanks for all the wonderful reviews and photos. It sounds like the show at the London Palladium was fabulous - and I'm so pleased for Jonathan and Hayley that it has all gone so well. I've just had a text message from a friend who went last night (and who has got me a programme ) that the show was superb and she has now become a Hayley fan too! Love Melody xx
