Hi Nicola,
Great review! It must have been quite a night. I saw some of the videos from Reading, and that gave a taste of what it must have been like. And to think I used to think that Hayley's voice lacked power. Not now it doesn't! Stunning! I've got to try to see her again soon,
Martin

I thought that too! I thought she was really meek and quiet! How wrong could we be?! I confirmed your comment, thank you, Natalie. <3

Hello again Nicola Thank you for your splendid review - I really enjoyed reading it. I knew you had enjoyed the concert because I heard what you said to Roger at the end when he asked if you had! I'm also very happy to learn that the Palladium toilets excited you almost as much as the concert. i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gifTake care and hope to meet up with you at another Hayley concert soon. Best wishes Grant (one of "The boys in blue"!)

Don't talk down the toilets! They're very important! You men. You just don't understand! We didn't have a chance to chat, did we Graham? I'm a shy person and I tend to stick to people that I know. In this case, Roger. Larry: there is no message from you in my folder. Really. Larry spent a long time trying to convince me that he was an unfunny comedian. He needn't have tried so hard.

Hi Steve
These are some of the best photos of Hayley in concert I've seen.
The last two pictures on post 138 are sublime.
Many thanks for sharing them.
Kind regards
Colin

I have written a more formal review at Classical X request www.classicalx.com/ they have credited it as a JA review although I did ask if it could be added for both and I have been told that the credit will go to both. It is written to spread the word ... Di

I've moved this review from the General thread. I'll just try and do a short review of my London Palladium experience as this will be the third forum I've been on !!
It was truly amazing evening. Being a devout Jonathan fan he never fails to deliver in my eyes , but he had upped the performance even more within a space of 5 days from when I saw him at Oxford., he was plain Spectacular in his solos , especially Canto Della Terra which brought the house down, the applause going on and on and on...Jon was quite choked up with it. If You'r Not The One was another song which although added later into the tour has gone down extremely well as Jon can hit those high notes with ease. I know this is Hayley's forum but I hope you don't mind me blathering on about this so talented young man.
Hayley will not be out done either.....she was in absolutely fine form, very enchanting. I think others before me have said about not realising her voice is so strong. It is hauntingly clear and pure and I am so glad this tour has enabled me to experience it live....something which might not have happened if not for Jonathan...and I'm pretty sure it is vice versa for Hayley fans too. She looked very pretty in all her dresses and I loved her sparkly shoes ! Their duets were so good, my favourites being Amigo Par Siempre, All I Ask of You and Time to Say Goodbye. To be honest there wasn't one song that I didn't like, it was all so good and their on stage chemistry is very apparent. Hayley had already said that the composer Don Black would be in the audience ( very near to me in the ice cream queue in fact ) It would be wonderful if these 2 talented young singers could work together again....and if we were allowed a wish come true , perhaps music written by either Andrew Lloyd Webber or Don Black would be the icing on the cake. I did hear a whisper that Don Black was impressed I waited nearly an hour at the stage door as there was a bit of a party after the show but eventually Hayley and Jon came out. They were in a hurry but still very kindly found time to pose for pics and sign stuff for us before disappearing into the night .... (well into a white mini bus ! ) It's great to hear along the way that HW fans have been so kind and friendly exchanging pics and general info.....here's to the next time.
