"I was really fortunate that she was available to record a duet for my first album.” Okay, I'm really confused now. It's just been reported that Hayley didn't sing with him on his Forever album, after all. So, what's he talking about? What's his first album, and what did Hayley sing on it? Hi Libby, This is Un Giorno per Noi on Jon's album "A Tenor at the Movies". Martin

Okay, thanks Martin. I wondered if it might be that song. I've just never noticed a thread about the album on the Other Albums board.

It's now 2am, we have just arrived home from Lowestoft. Weather conditions pretty awful driving in that continuous rain, but oh so worth it.
It was a totally wonderful evening. Jonathan's performances on his solos were outstanding.Jonathan and Hayley singing together - pure magic. The theatre was cosy and seated a full house tonight. The people sitting either side of us were fans of Hayley, and were not too familiar with Jonathan. I am pleased to say that dramatically changed. You could see the look on peoples faces/their response to Jonathan once he began to sing. This was equally matched by everyones generous applause, cheering, and a few shouts too.
Jonathan and Hayley performance of 'All I Ask Of You' went down really well and got a huge amount of ongoing applause, as did Jonathan's 'If Your Not The One' - just fabulous. In fact every song by either Jonathan or Hayley or Jonathan and Hayley together went down a storm. Everyone loved them and the atmosphere was magic, the applause lasting. You could see from the look on their faces that they were really enjoying themselves too.
Jonathan's 'To Where You Are' sang so very beautifully, 'Canto Della Terra' stunning - 'Para Sempre' fabulous, I could go on and on, absolutely wonderful. Raven the girl string quartet, who also accompanied Jonathan and Hayley and also did solos were pretty amazing too.
It was lovely to meet up again with Marion,Margaret and Suz, all too soon the evening seemed to be over. Glad you got home safe Suz, and Margaret, and hopefully Marion should be home soon (albeit a little longer than anticipated if there is still the traffic hold up we got caught in).
A wonderful evening, such stunning performances from Jonathan and Hayley, rapturous applause that went on and on, and still rings in my ears. Molly I wish you could have been there too! a truly stupendous night.
After the show had finished, Colin and I, Marion,Margaret, and Suz, waited for Jonathan to appear. As usual Jonathan took the time to sign things for people, have a chat and even pose for photos. He is such a gent. There were Hayley fans there too, such lovely people. Hayley also stayed for autographs and photos, she is absolutely charming. Thank you Jonathan and thank you Hayley.
It was a truly magical evening, and one which gained many new fans for both Jonathan and Hayley too - just pure magic. x from "Madwoman" Marion Re: Valentine's Tour Reviews - LOWESTOFT Marina 09.02.09 (SPOILERS) Reply Favorites Contact

I'm now home - it's cold, wet outside and it's past 1am.......and I'm still grinning!! Big Smile
Well, I'm home now and it's past 3am and I am still grinning!! Big Smile Both Margaret and Suz have summed up the evening brilliantly so there is not much else to add to be honest.
Like Sue, I though last night was brilliant but tonight was out of this world. The addition of the extra song worked wonders. I feel the show is now more balanced and I didn't come away wanting this time - well apart for the night never to end at all that is!! lol
I will admit, and Chelle will back me up on this, If You're Not The One was my least favourite track on the album. I felt Jonathan could have done more with it as it sounded like a copy of Daniel Beddingfield. I know many of you will disagree with me but now I have changed my tune!! Jonathan sang it tonight with only a piano and guitar accompanying him and without the layers of his voice, the lyrics stood out more and you could really appreciate how difficult this song is to sing. It was simple and stunning!! If that's what he can do by messing around in a sound check, then please please Jonathan do some more messing!!
Poor guy was nearly slammed against the wall by me and Suz until he agreed to keep it in the show - you had better keep your word Jonathan!! lol Think I said something along the lines of the whole forum knows now so you can't back down!!
I thought Raven were even better tonight, maybe it was the size of the theatre or the acoustics - whatever, I will be buying their album at the next venue.
Hayley was brilliant, she really seemed to enjoy this one. She looked excited and it showed in her voice. The more I hear of the Maori song (sorry but I am not even going to attempt to spell it!!) the more I love it. Her voice was so pure and enchanting.
BTW Sue, it wasn't just you and Christine losing it! haha By God did he put his all into each and every song tonight.
The audience were brilliant, lapping it all up and clapped when Jonathan announced he was going to sing Be My Love even before he sang the first note! Chelle, I think someone is in competition with you for whistling, though you are still the loudest! lol Cheers came from all around and shouts for more were numerous.I think the applause for Canto Della Terra lasted the longest of all his songs but that takes nothing away from the rest.
The very well deserved standing ovation was instantaneous from the vast majority of the audience, both in the stalls and the circle
A fantastic evening. Well done Jonathan, Hayley and Raven, you have hit the spot!
The only down side was I wasn't filming tonight and didn't have my camera nearby to capture You're Not The One but at least those of you at the remaining concerts will have a chance Big Smile
Marian X PS Maori song is "Pokarekare Ana" I don't know how many times I've typed that song out Graeme
