I am very impressed that you included a Moody Blues selection in your list. I dont know that I would single out that album, but they have long been a favorite of mine - in a sense they were a classical crossover act in their own right, though we didnt think about those things in that way then.
I wouldnt even try to put a list like this together - my favorite album today might not have been yesterday, or tomorrow. There is a set of perhaps 40 albums I cycle through for periods of time, which slowly evolves over the years as things come and go. All of Hayley's albums are in there right now, but so are multiple selections from John Denver, the Moodies, Yes, Peter Paul and Mary, Enya and Josh Groban, as well as the occasional newer work which catches my fancy for some reason

Hi Jon,
All of the Moody Blues first seven albums are classics in my opinion. I have had all of them at one time or other, and am gradually repurchasing them on CD. Last monthe I bought "A Question of Balance". To our CCC, about space exploration, released shortly after the first moon landings, is reminiscent of a particular time. It also has "Wishing and Hoping", my favourite Moodies song.
Steve,
I very nearly included "Sticky Fingers" too, certainly my favoutire Stones album, but then realised I haven't played it for quite a long time, and hadn't missed it.
As for HSJS, it has been on my car player now almost continuously since it came out. The other day, a friend gave me a CD by a local band whose lead singer is his daughter, and I put on on and played a few tracks. I thought it was quite good (although perhaps not my favourite style of music, all latin rhythms and rap). But next day, Sue used my car, and the next time I drove it I found HSJS mysteriously back on the player. I'm not the only Hayley fan in this house!

Since we were asked to name our top ten albums other than Hayley's I'd say that Sticky Fingers really does have a place on your list.
