To many people Judy Collins is ear candy of the highest order. You've seen her name mentioned several times in here, but not everyone has heard her. I'd like to spotlight her music in this thread in hopes that more of you will discover what all the fuss is about. I think the best intro to Judy Collins for Hayley fans would be her hit rendition of Both Sides Now which can be experienced by clicking HERE. Then there's her other big hit, Someday Soon, which is right HERE. And one her best songs ever, Sons Of, which is HERE. That's enough to get you started. Enjoy.

Judy was also the first singer to record a Leonard Cohen song and to introduce him on stage. she recently recorded a full album of Leonard's songs : Democracy
I have been buying her CD re-releases with two albums in each pack,
Judy is to sing in Dublin soon.
Hmmmmmmmmmm........maybe a night out is due

Judy Collins, Whelan's, Wexford Street, Dublin. 27th January 2009.
Judy (Born 1st May 1939) sang and told stories for over 90 minutes without an interval or break. Judy started of with the Joni Mitchell hit Both sides now and after a few minutes really got into her stride, proving as always that albums and recorded material lose a lot in the recording and playback process.
Judy still has a fantastically clear and pure voice that did not always come across on the albums, blame microphones or recording equipment or your own playback system, But to hear her live was really impressive.
