Hello everybody. This is my new way of talking, I am using proper English and speaking very clearly and precisely. The weather here is very good although it is gradually getting colder. My new CD and DVD live from New Zealand should be here soon only a couple of weeks to go and I am so excited about it. I hope the DVD has the bonus tracks on it as you can never get to much of Hayley. She is so good to listen to. This reminds me of the joke my father tells his friends about me. We were going to visit my Aunty and he said to me I will give you two dollars if you can be quite and not talk until we are out of town, he says i made it to the end of the street and said this is too hard and started talking but he is telling a lie as I know I made it for at least three blocks and I am sick of talking this way, it is to hard, I have to think. SOOOO hey all what a awesome day hey, Ive got the day off wooo hooo and I’m so wrapped that my Cd and dvd will be here soon hey, Hayley is just like absolutely awesome and I have only seen her performing on U tube so it will be like super awesome to see her performances hey. Taa for the nice comments about my avatar hey you guys are like heaps cool with your compliments hey Taa heaps but back on track about Hayley did HWI give Hayley a birthday present this year and who pays for it. Like does everyone chip in and send a donation or whats the go its probably on some other forum hey and I just cant find it, man o man there are so many forums here i would have to be on all day to get through them lol. Hey Im a hoot i like that Larry because Like yeh i am zany hey.and ok the avatar stays until i get one with Hayley hey. Back soon loves ya all heaps Sandy

Hey Sandy, Are those bubbles emitting from your photo artificial, or they just a manifestation of your bubbly personality oozing out. Larry

Hello Dane! Your photograph of Hayley is very impressive, but unfortunately the file size exceeds 1MB, which could slow down the forum considerably for some people. The maximum size permitted is 100KB per image, so I removed the tags to leave a clickable link. This thread has drifted off-topic, so could everybody please remember that the subject is Hayley's 'River of Dreams' album. Many thanks, Richard

Hi Richard. Not a problem. I had forgotten about the image size limit.

Hi all,
River of Dreams seemed to have a short uk shelf life and in the absence of any indication of a new album from Hayley ,I would not be surprised if a special uk edition is in the offing. Its a practice I dislike but is common place in the industry.Perhaps it could be justified if a concert DVD could be added to it.
Stephen.

Today I drove to Kiama to visit a friend. My entertainment was the NZ ROD...car copy. I'd started to forget how brilliant it is..... Unfortunately it's still in Kiama. Graeme

We are spoilt for choice with Hayley. I find myself listening mostly to her most recent stuff. HSJS2 is something I listen too all the time, together with my home made CD's of her recent concert performances. Hayley seems to be improving all the time, so her latest stuff is also her best. But then you forget how different and how wonderful her earlier stuff was too.
Yet we want more. Hayley is continually progressing and evolving musically, and whatever she does never fails to amaze and delight me. I have come to expect that of her. And she has already been doing that for longer than the shelf life of most singers. Everey time I see her live, or see a new video or hear a new record, she seems to have improved on perfection. It is mindblowing, and I can't imagine where it will end.
ROD the best of Hayley? That is still to come surely.
Martin

hi i've just found these lyrics - and an almost completely different translation for Po atarau (now is the hour) which are different to Hayley's version: Po atarau (on a moonlit night) E moea iho nei (I see in a dream) E haare ana (you going away) Koe ki pamamao (to a distant land)
Haere ra (farewell) ka hoki mai ano (but I return again) Ki i te tau (to your loved one) E tangi atu nei (weeping here)
...does anyone else know any other translations??...i find it interesting that there are several different translations for maori songs...i like the sound of these translations...but i think Hayley's version is absolutely wonderful...

That's probably just the direct translation of the Maori words.
