Ah, the Olympic Games, or another good reason not to watch TV! Richard Oh Richard what a superb response! However, such observations put a very large space between us and our idol! Don't think I want that. I suspect there are many things there she would like to watch... if only she had the time! Peter S.

Olympic athletes and World class Singers it would seem have much in common. Years of dedication to achieve a goal. To perform on demand, to give of themselves their best performance. To practice, to rehearse, to refine technique, To eat, sleep and drink with their objective in mind. To deny themselves treats and luxuries with their objective in mind. To perform for two hours and twenty minutes: A marathon / A concert A sprint or / one song on a TV show, three minutes to give your very best. A gymnasts performance in the hope of achieving a PERFECT 10 similar to a concert. To be uplifted by their supporters applause to carry them through that last few minutes (The Encore) If singing was an Olympic sport then Hayley would be our GOLD MEDALIST.

Hi Paddy & Comet, Agreed wholeheartedly. Pretty well as soon as I came under Hayley's spell I've thought of her as a Champion in every respect. That word doesn't just belong to a brand of spark plug. ...To perform for two hours and twenty minutes: A marathon / A concert. ... 'Cept that Hayley would never perform for that long lest she lose her voice! I frankly see Hayley not as an Olympian but more as a true professional.

Hi all,
I won`t be watching the Olympics Games because it doesnt really interest me.
I'm very excited because I'm going to see 'Rent' the musical this evening. It closes on Broadway very soon and my sister wanted to see it very badly so we got tickets for tonight's performance. I'm very excited and I can't wait!
