Hi to all.
My name is Jordi, I live in Girona, a mid-sized village north-east of Spain.
My wife Olga and I are great fans of Hayley since we discovered her at Il Divo concert in Barcelona in 2006, where she gained our hearts at once.
Unfortunately, her CDs are not easy to find around, and we have had to rely on the internet so far, to enjoy her angel voice and presence.
We felt we had to see her live again, an not as an invited artist, but as the main artist in show, so we checked her schedule, and Grove theater at Dunstable seemed a good choice. It was an indoors venue (British weather, you know), and we had a direct flight from Girona to Luton, so we booked tickets, flight, and hotel as early as April, and there we were.
It was amazing, every song I had to refrain my tears of pure joy. It was really incredible!
Most incredible was the chance we had to meet Hayley in the backstage! Although uninvited, we get there, and had the chance to talk to her, and even have a pair of photos with her, taken by Steve Abbott, who was extremely friendly.
You can imagine how nervous we were, but even so, we were deeply touched by how gentle and friendly Hayley is, despite being such a star. If we already loved her, this direct experience has brought our love and appreciation for her, off limits.
As i have read somewhere else in this forum, if everybody were as Hayley is, this world would be heaven indeed.
We are already looking forward to come back for the River of Dreams tour, most likely at Bournemouth, where I spent 3 weeks studying English 18 years ago.
And, last but not least, let me apologize for any language mistakes I may commit.
Love to all.

Hello Jordi and Olga and a very warm welcome to you both. I am delighted to hear that you managed to meet Hayley in Dunstable. I understand why you felt nervous at the prospect of meeting her but, as you now know, there was no need. She is always very friendly and has a natural ability to make her fans feel welcome and at ease. Although I have seen her many times, I didn't go to that concert but I hope to see you both in Bournemouth. Thank you for registering and I hope you enjoy being a part of our Hayley community. Best wishes from the south of England! Roger PS. Your English is better than mine!

Hi Jordi
I was at the concert at Dunstable as well.
I am so pleased you enjoyed it and that you got to see Hayley afterwards as well.
Like all of us here, you are certainly "Hayleywowed". Her performances on CD are wondrous, but seeing and hearing her live is something you will never forget.
I'm pleased to see you on the forum and hope to hear from you many times again.
Kind regards
Colin

Hello Jordi and Olga and welcome to the forum from Central England.
I was very happy to hear that you enjoyed the concert in Dunstable last week - many of us feel that it was one of her best ever performances. I was there also and was the one taking all the pictures of Hayley up in the Green Room after the concert.
You were very lucky to meet Hayley on that occasion as it was one of the few times that she didn't do a public signing after the concert.
I hope you enjoy your time with us.
Best wishes Grant

Hi to everyone!
I am Jordi's wife and I want to write some feelings.
It was an amazing experience being at Grove theater in Dunstable listening to Hayely. I must confirm that she is an angel in this world, not only for her voice, also the way she talks, the way she is, her pure energy, her light... just an angel.
And I must say that her voice has the power of healing, and an important point for me is that her voice has the power to connect me with my soul, with my heart, with the love inside me... in fact with my spiritual self. And I am sure this happens (consciously or inconsciously) to anyone who listens to her.
I have no words to express my joy knowing she is on planet Earth giving so much light, so much love, so much peace, so much hope.
I am very happy to know there are so many of us, fans of Hayley.
Wiht cheerfluness see you at HWI!
Olga : )
(Thanks to my husband helping me with my english)

I have no words to express my joy knowing she is on planet Earth giving so much light, so much love, so much peace, so much hope. Hi Olga It would appear you have found the words and expressed your feelings about Hayley with far more clarity than many of us have achieved over several years. Thank You for putting in words what many of us here feel about Hayley.....

Hi Olga, Welcome to HWI This is so true and why I think that it is fantastic that Hayley is a patron of Raukatauri Music Therapy Centre, Auckland, NZ. I'm sure that her albums are put to good use there. Kind Regards from the UK Dean

Hi, Lots of thanks for all your welcomes, Jordi and I are pleased to be in HWI forum.
For Paulo. Being in a concert, it is great!! You really get Hayley's energy... you are there listening to her pure and angelical voice and time has stopped... in fact there is no time. And this is what happened at the Grove theater in Dunstable, I could not believe the concert had finished... for me it was ten minutes for the firts part and other ten minutes for the second part. I really enjoyed it.
For Dean. It is fantastic whay you say, that Hayley is a patron of Raukatauri Music Therapy Centre, Auckland, NZ. I wish all hospitals around the world and all health centres played her songs. Sure there would healthier people!! For me Pokakare Ana has great effects on me, also E Pari Ra, the first time I heard it I thought that it was not from this world. The fact is that any song sang by Hayley it becomes pure delight.
Have a nice and lovely day! Love, Olga

Hello Jordi and Olga! Wow! I only wish i could be so lucky to personally meet Hayley!!! I am definitely envious. Since she rarely ever comes to the States, I doubt that I will ever get to personally meet her. I was hoping to do that back in March 25, 2007 - when she appeared in Nashville, TN - while touring with Celtic Woman. While I did fly out there to see her; and enjoyed her performance very much - unfortunately I never got to personally meet here in a Meet And Greet Session. Both of you are very fortunate indeed! Steve B.
