Well, I'm glad I got to see them before they were gone! Especially Songbird!

Hi all,
Apologies for not saying anything about this until now, a huge thank you to everyone who has posted such excellent photos and reports on what was clearly a first class concert. I'm sure Hayley would've been delighted to see so many of her supporters there.
Best wishes David

Thanks for the photos Martin . Does anyone know if Bedlam/Decca will be making bitrate of the iTunes files at 192/160 kbps or just the slightly stingy 128kbps version?

has anybody heard anything about the ETA for Hayley's iTunes Live EP? I don't know but they're taking their sweet time about it. There are very few from the festival up for download yet. I can only imagine it'll be up when Itunes finally gets around to it put let me know if you see it up first

Hi everyone
I too am wondering if anyone knows anything more about the proposed live songs on iTunes? I say this having noticed that the official site has withdrawn the news item about Hayley appearing at iTunes Live, which contained the message that some songs would be available on iTunes. Even the iTunes Live site suggests that all the songs have been put onto iTunes now, and of course Hayley's songs are missing from there.
I'm really hoping I'm wrong here, because Hayley sounded really beautiful that night.
Kind regards
Colin

Kind regards Colin Well I keep checking phobos.apple.com/WebObjects/MZStore.woa/wa/viewCustomPage?name=pageLondonFestival_2008 but like you I have not seen anything yet. I wonder if Roger as heard anything from the grape vine ? I really hope they get released (soon) but I can understand some issues with some of the songs not yet being released like songbird. At the time of writing the iTunes Store is encountering problems, so I hope they are updating things including new songs Kind Regards Dean

Hi Again, My third different Hayley concert in four nights, Broadlands, Cannizaro Park , and I Tunes ( Is that a record ) I caught the train in from Berkhamstead to Euston, only a 10 min walk from there, even though BR wanted to charge me an extra £ 6-00 ......... ( Return Underground fare of £2 plus a combined BR/Underground flat rate £4-00 fee. ) Yes I walked ! Fortunately my knowledge of London put me on the right road ( Unlike some others. no names ! ) Approaching the second building I thought might be the venue I saw Roger who had already spotted me, with a quick wave and the road safely crossed I greated the HWI members already there. After a wait of over an hour, with a long queue now forming we were eventually allowed in . With a far from safe descent to the tables ( How did it pass the Health and Safety check for lighting ) we were in prime position. So far so good , then they two acts swooped time slots ( from my info I had expected Hayley first ) Enough has been said about the other act but it certainly wasn't to my taste Hayley was of course in great form but the Guitar accompaniment to 'Both Sides Now' was a disappointment for me. I am sure it could be a lot better than that ! However 'Songbird' would have been worth the trip alone ! Now the problem was is there time enough to see Hayley before the last train. I decided 23-05 was my limit and fortunately Hayley appeared at about 22-55 so it was about 23-10 when Martin and I were scampering back to Euston and St Pancaras ( Glad to know you made it Martin I just made the last train so got back safely. I dont know if 3 different Hayley concerts in 4 nights is a record but certainly I don't think I will get the chance again, so I am glad I took the opportunity ! Graham

Hi Graham and Dean,
No problem at all for me playing and downloading Drew's videos with Windows Media Player 11.
I imagine(?) that they download faster if I play them first. No doubt Dean knows why.
I believe WMP automatically downloads any necessary codecs, if the box is ticked in 'Options/Player'.
Great HD (Hayley + Drew) Thank you.
Paddy

Hello Graham, and Happy Birthday! I thought there was a major problem with the sound system while the Ahn Trio were performing, but that crackling noise could have been deliberate. We'll probably never know! Richard
