Looking at the Barbican website and online booking facility, I notice that tickets have started selling much more quickly over the last few days - a large section at the centre of the stalls has now gone, so it may be good idea for anyone who has been undecided about buying tickets to book sooner rather than later. Strangely though, when I booked my tickets, rows C & D were showing as sold out so I ended up opted for row E - now C & D are now showing as on sale Mark (A)

I wish i could make it to this one!! But I fly home for Christmas that day. But, hopefully there will be some concerts in London in the new year. It Looks like HWI will be well represented at this one- great poster too Hi Libby Sorry you won't be joining us for this one it would be a great end to your year in England, though I'm sure you will be looking forward to catching up with your family. Are you going to any of the ROD Concerts? Love Grant

I've just booked for this one, for Sue and I, two seats near the centre of Row C. I hope that isn't too near the stage, it was mentioned on Saturday that the Barbican can be neckache inducing if you are too near the front.
I also have two nights booked on a caravan site in Welwyn Garden City, from where trains run pretty regularly and quite late into Kings Cross, taking about 20 minutes. Sounds ideal!
I feel bereft these days if I don't have at least two Hayley concerts in the pipeline.

Dad, what would you like for Christmas?
F34, F35, F36 and F37 would be very nice thank you.
At last a daughter and son-in-law who understand their father!
(I think that makes 36 in total and representatives in the first seven rows. What a lot of tartan.)

I'm in F38 but only because my local gig got cancelled. Hayley gigs are like buses. If you miss one, there's another along soon, which is probably how she got sick in the first place. Personally I hope she slows down a bit in 2009, even if it means we get fewer concerts to attend.

Hi Grant and Graham, as far as I remember there were neither the Barbican Hall nor Edinburgh and Rochester ever mentioned on this site. It's really a bit weird. Fingers crossed and hoping the best , Karsten

Presumably those of us who have tickets will be told if anything changes! Those tickets are real, and not just a figment of my imagination. Until we ticket holders are told otherwise must assume it is on!

All the same I am not getting my hopes up for the following reasons. Hayley is advertised as presenting the show which means using her voice more than usual, the last thing she needs.Secondly a large number of people are involved, both a full orchestra and choir which means a lot of rehearsal time which again is not ideal at the moment. Also the nature of the repertoire means it is unlikely to be rescheduled unless it's in 12 month's time !
