Special request from Universal & Bedlam

Hi everyone,

Universal Music and Bedlam Management have asked if any members who are going to the events during the summer would be willing to hand out flyers for the River of Dreams tour.

Universal have said they will provide a pair of tickets for the RoD tour to any pair of members who are willing to do this (provided they are not already sold out!).

This would apparently mean you would be required to stand at the entrance while the general public arrive. It is only fair to point out that most of the summer events do not have allocated seating. While I would hope that other members might save you a place, I am not in a position to guarantee it.

If you are able and willing to help, please let me know by PM and please state at which event you are able to do it.

could we have 780 handouts for Dunstable unless Bedlam already have this covered. (Although I suspect that Steve will be there with everyone from Alfie's Bar.)

Thanks Drew, I have added your name to the list of volunteers. I can't promise how many leaflets will be available for any particular event. Hopefully, Bedlam (or Universal) will have thought of that.

Many thanks to everyone who has volunteered to give out flyers. I had hoped that plans would have been finalised by now but I am still awaiting developments.

Last Monday, I was asked to supply the postal address of one of the volunteers who would be at Orwell Park. I gave my own and was expecting Universal Music to send the flyers to me. They never materialized! Bedlam Management told me on Saturday morning that they would speak to Universal immediately and let me know. I have heard no more since.

I feel that the ball is now firmly in their court and so I will not be pursuing it any further unless they contact me in which case, I will let you all know of any arrangements for future events.

Bedlam have now advised that the flyers to be given out at Dunstable will be available for collection from the Box Office by Drew and Martin. I am awaiting news of the plan for the other venues and will advise by PM when I get it.
