Sorry,
I can't find a thread specifically dedicated to the Classical Brits, so I put this on the Andrea Bocelli board, as he had the first and last say on this year's Classical Brits anyway ...
Here's full coverage of the 2008 Classical Brits.
Interestingly, the Critics awards winner Steven Isserlis was not considered worthy by ITV to be included in the final broadcast. An indictment on the Critics?
More interestingly, at the beginning of the broadcast, there's this reference by Myleene Klass to "Look what he forgot!" (at 43 seconds into the broadcast). This of course refers to Steven Isserlis not taking his award with him, as he had to perform live immediately after. But in the context of the broadcast, this makes no sense at all, as this one part was left out altogether ....

www.classicalrelatedperformances.com/cb08/classicalbrits2008.wmv (221 MB) Hehe, this one lasts all of 1 hour and 1 second .... There is some slight synchronisation problem developing when you go through the entire file (about half a second at the end, I think).
