Hi All,
I am so happy to hear that Hayley will perform at the 4th of July celebration in the U.S. I am happy for the fans in the U.S. but happier for Hayley who will get some exposure.
But I am sadden to say the I am not going to attend since the end of June I will be having surgery, but then I will be able to see Hayley on the television (every year this concert gets televised on PBS), and able to see and hear her better.
However, for Hayley to come all the way to the U.S. to perform 1, 2, maybe 3 songs (whatever), it will be ashame if Bedlam/Decca don't set up a Hayley solo performance a day before or after (some small venue), even in another city like New York. And let the fans know at least a month before the performance (to make arrangements because it's a big travel weekend because of the holiday). Advertise it, get it on all the various Hayley websites. And I believe she will have a good turnout, not just from the fans in the U.S. but the rest of North America, even from fans from South America.
If I know that Hayley will have a solo concert I would postpone my surgery to attend a solo concert.
I hope that Bedlam/Decca is thinking of this and hopefully it is something that Hayley would like to do.
My Best to All, Howard

Hi Howard I'm sure a solo performance by Hayley in July would be very well received, but according to her management, the information we have received via Roger HERE is that Hayley will not be doing anything else. Sorry to be the herald of bad news but I'm sure Hayley will perform for you guys again soon. Best wishes Grant

It was a bit of a struggle, since the first time the brown button crashed Firefox. The second time I got to a page advertising free web hosting, but at the bottom was a link that downloaded the file. It was worth listening to for sure. Actually I think Stephany would say ecoutez la. After all, there is nothing to see. Thanks. Martin

If Hayley's management would get Hayley a gig with someone with the stature of Barbara Strreisand it would be wonderful. However Barbara does few concerts and few appearances of any kind. My suggestion for Bedlam would be to try for an appearance with Celine Dion. In order for Hayley to break into the U S she needs help from an established star. Hayley has the ability to make it big in the U S. She has the talent to perform all types of music. But you need to get a foothold first to then spead your wings. I'm certainly no expert;but I think Hayley needs to widen some of her parameters if she wants to be successful in the U S. Appearing with Carreras or Il Divo is not going to get the job done. I don't want to offend anyone in Bedlam Productions, but they should keep in mind that the more money Hayley makes the more they make.

Hey all you U S fans of Hayley. Lets bombard Bedlam Management to work harder to get Hayley into the U S market. After all the Brits have had her long enough. They should share this enormous talent with us,

Yay!! Hayley back in the U.S.!! But I can't go, it's quite a distance ...the event is in the East and I'm all the way over at the West Coast....(what good is it to live near Hollywood and L.A. when "untalented" artists surpass the talented...) But I'll definately be watching it on PBS! It's a grand event and I'm glad Hayley will be part of it. She such an admirable person that she deserves to be part of such a prestigious event Meldy

Howard, I totally agree with your comment about Hayley's 4th of July appearance. C'mon Bedlam get off the dime and get Hayley a U S gig. Seems a shame to come here without giving her fans a chance to see her in concert. I'm going broke flying to the U K to see her.

Fortune favours the bold, and Bedlam has been too conservative.
Sorry to go off track a bit, but I'd really like to extend this thought to other markets/regions, especially Asia. If they would let Hayley explore more of Asia, her fanbase will surely grow considerably.
Cheers, Tin

C'mon Bedlam get off the dime and get Hayley a U S gig. Hi Larry, I feel sure that, in time, they will but they have already advised us that it won't happen during Hayley's trip to the event in Washington DC. There is no doubt in my mind that she would appear somewhere nearbly if it were possible but, at such short notice, it isn't and we have to remember that she has long-standing commitments elsewhere just a few days either side of 4th July. Her main focus in the US right now is this one event and the subsequent promotion that will be gained when the PBS Special is screened. Hopefully, that will result in demands being made for her to appear elsewhere in the US at a later time. Roger

Hi Larry and Tin, I concur with Roger's comments (which i saw after writing the rest of this!) and I'd just add that the right thread for discussing Hayley's general situation in the US is Sure-Fire Ways for Hayley to Succeed in the USA (in the Miscellaneous board) and of course, many of the ideas discussed there are applicable to other Countries too. A separate thread could be started in the Miscellaneous board for other Countries but we'd probably end up covering much the same ground as in the US thread. So at the moment, another thread like that is probably not a good idea unless there are some factors worth discussing that are unique to that Country. Cheers, Dave

Absolutely Dave. That is why I limited my response (more or less) to the suggestion that another event should take place during her visit on 4th July. I hope to answer Larry's question in much greater detail on the "Sure-Fire Ways" thread later but it will require considerable research before I can do so. I will be back when I can! Roger

Hi Larry - I wish Hayley would sing over in North America too! I would have a better chance
of seeing her if she were in the States (or even better in Canada!) so I would email the
record company and show that we want her here!! But your post says here is Dacca's
email and then it ways email removed....where could I find the address?
