Hayley's busiest year for concerts

Hi Martin,

As we know there are more concerts to be announced, we cannot be sure of the answer but I suspect this may not be Hayley's busiest year. According to my records, she has appeared in concerts worldwide as follows:

2004: 66 times
2005: 39 times
2006: 102 times
2007: 74 times
2008: 46 times (announced so far)

The above includes her own concerts, those supporting Il Divo, the Celtic Woman tour and a few radio and television appearances that were, in effect, full concerts (but not appearances where she sang only one song). Neither does it include any promotional appearances.

So, it seems she has a way to go before breaking her record established in 2006.

Thanks for the update Roger. I never realised how busy some previous years were, particularly 2006 which I guess was due to Odyssey promotion.

Hi Martin,

Roger has of course included Hayley's concerts supporting Il Divo and in collaboration with Celtic Woman so arguably, you could deduct them to get totals for Hayley's "own" concerts. A very quick check tells me Hayley did 54 Il Divo concerts and 34 Celtic Woman concerts, which if deducted from Roger's totals leaves about: 48 others in 2006 and 40 others in 2007. These totals are more catchable!

Roger will I am sure correct my mathematics if it's wrong!

Hi Roger and All,
Not so far now I think we are at 64 with maybe some still to be added ( Was it Canterbury Festival , no SEARCH as since June 14th )
