I found this on ClassicalX about Katherine's final album on her current record deal: www.classicalx.com/article1751.htmlShe will be covering more religious and sacred works, such as she used to sing as a choir girl. She describes it as going "full circle." Indeed, she has done the full swing, her last album being the most pop-influenced. I am looking forward to her next album, because, to me (as a churchgoer), nothing compares to sacred music - it will always be my favorite genre.

Hi sonata58, Perhaps you aren't aware of the existence of Katherine's first ever major fan site, www.katherine-jenkins-international.com ? It is dedicated solely to Katherine Jenkins (well, perhaps I should say, she has to share it with a minisite for her namesake from Western Austrlia - which has resulted in confusion among locals there on the one occasion Katherine performed in concert in Perth). Best of all, the site is virtually ad-free .... (well, it does advertise Katherine Jenkins of course ...) Gerrit

Thanks, Gerrit, for letting me know about that. Actually, I was already aware of it, and was enjoyed perusing it. I probably should join Katherine's forum as well. I'm always reluctant to create accounts, but I might as well... Thanks, anyways, for telling me about it!

Katherine has just released the track listing for her latest album through her Official Website. I can't wait for this album - I can already say that it will be my favorite. www.katherinejenkins.co.uk/

A disappointing track listing. I think I'll get it anyway to make my collection of hers 'full circle'. Which Pie Jesu is that? Rutter or Webber? I think Katherine has a beautiful, beautiful voice. I buy her albums for that reason, but they keep disappointing. Especially 'Rejoice'. 'Second Nature' is still a firm favourite of mine, and Premiére is my second, but even those albums I only like five tracks tops. I still love her though. I don't know how she keeps me interested! I guess it's that velvety voice.

Great minds think alike, or else they copy one another !

I think the artists do look to one another for inspiration, but I'm sure it's just a coincidence, considering that the album is religiously themed. There's only so many popular (and by popular I mean 'main stream' to religious and non-religious people alike) religious classics.

Thanks for the link Sonata. I think I'm going to love this one! There is no question that I will but it, if only to complete the set, but since I love sacred music too, that will not be the only reason.
