Hi Roger Many thanks for the great screen captures. I ordered the DVD yesterday and have just had the e-mail to confirm that it is in stock and will be dispatched today. Best regards Mark. You won't regret it Mark! Just give yourself a couple of hours to relax and take it all in and then perhaps another couple of hours to watch it again!! (The show is about 90 minutes followed by a 20 minute documentary.) ENJOYGrant

Hello Mark! I guarantee you will enjoy the DVD. You should allow yourself six hours for viewing, because you'll want to watch the whole show and the documentary at least three times before you can switch it off! i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gifBest Wishes, Richard

Ha Ha Ha On a more serious note, I'm guessing these were taken from the Region 0 version of the Disc - looking at the quality . We have a region 2 version (cost an arm and a leg) and the quality was much better Also the aspect ratio looks a bit out, or is that just the way they have been posted

Also the aspect ratio looks a bit out, or is that just the way they have been posted Regarding the aspect ratio, I found below. Original aspect ratio = 16:9 Roger's photos = 3:2 According to the calculation, vertical size is extended 18.5% bigger. (16/9)/(3/2) ≒ 1.185 I just tried to correct 2 of the Photos below. I first tried just only the ratio but I also tried some enhancement. Regarding the region code, I bought the DVD when I was visiting USA for my family's wedding ceremony. I first thought it was an American region but it was a region free and I could play it back by my Japanese version of DVD player sold in Japan. It is also OK to play in New Zealand where a friend of mine uses local version of DVD player. Best wishes. Maya

Hello Maya! Yes, I'm sure your analysis is correct! For anyone interested in the technical details, here is the reason (as I know that you already know ). DVDs using the NTSC TV system, as used in the US, Japan and some other countries, can be played in countries using the PAL TV system (including UK, NZ) because modern DVD players and TVs there are dual standard (assuming that there is no region coding to stop it). The aspect ratio of Roger's screenshots is as you said 3:2 (1.5) and this is how NTSC widescreen video is encoded - at 3:2 (720 x 480) together with an instruction for DVD players to "stretch" it to the correct 16:9 aspect ratio. But some computer software can't read the aspect ratio instruction, or ignores it, and I think that's what happened in this case, so Roger's screenshots came out in the "raw" aspect ratio of 3:2 not 16:9. This implies that Roger bought his DVD as an import from the US when it was first released there, which was I think before it was released in PAL in the UK. My own copy is the UK PAL version and it was encoded "raw" at 720 x 576, which is an aspect ratio of 5:4 (1.25) so if I'd posted a screenshot without correcting it, it would have looked even thinner than Roger's version! Your corrected versions, Maya, are of course, correct! And the quality is excellent. Cheers, Dave
